Run down of the grow room setup/cost.
Vipar 450w +yoyo hanger: $160
Timers, extension cords, surge protector,tarp, and fixtures:$35
DIY CFL light:
4 Sylvania 23w 100w equivalent 5000k 1600 lumens: $11
Disposable aluminum pans: 1$
Socket+ac plug adapter:$3
2 socket splitter adapters:$5
Two socket and plugs: free salvage from around the house
TOTAL DIY LIGHT COST:$20
Soil,nutes,misc items tape ext.: $50
TOTAL SO FAR:$260

So I'm about ready yall! At this point I have everything except seeds. The picture with the pots in it are from this morning. So far >500 and <450. I'm getting a few things to upgrade my cfl rig today and will post some pics once it's complete. After today's expenditure we are probably looking at within 15$ give or take of 500$.
Should be rocking at some point this week. I got a bout 3.5 gal tote I wanna use to germ and clone. I'm put is always welcome! The more absurd the better

Cool experiment. I'll follow along. My first grow was illegal. In fact, I didn't even realize you could get medical marijuana in my state until reading on this site. Posting pictures from my phone sketched me out so I went and bought a cheap digital camera.
I had good results as a new grower with miracle grow and 200watts in cfls. I didn't end up with dense buds or anything amazing but I was smoking weed for about a month that I had grown.
I was super sketched out about getting busted so I looked into getting a medical card. Already having a legit medical condition, it only took a records request and a couple hundred dollars to aquire one.
Growing is great, keep it fun.
