I plan on using 5 gallon Smart Pots with FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil. I also plan on adding either some kind of tower fan, or a DuaBreeze 16' fan. This will be my first time growing, and I'm looking to grow the best quality bud possible. That said, what else should I purchase to ensure my grow op is in the best possible shape for ScrOGging 4 plants or so. And any other advice and criticism is welcome! I look forward to being more active in this community soon!

sounds like a good set up.....cal mag is always good to have handy...also you will need a trellis or bamboo stakes. i would also ad an osculating wall mount fan or clip on fan to push the air around. hope this helps

A couple things I can think of... pH tester, pH calibration liquid and pH up/down. I also recommend buying a heavy duty roll of double-sided velcro (Home Depot). Mine's about 2"x10'. Great for sticking kit in your tent (power bars, thermometers etc), and on the outside to hold your doors open when you're working. I also use it to hang my filter/fan and to neatly tie my cabling.

Depending on the environment in the room your tent is in, it may be wise to invest in a $40 humidifier, but you'll know if you'll need one pretty quickly after you get set up.

I wouldn't buy all that intill you're ready!

All you need right now is the pots, soil, light, tent, fan, and feminized seeds. I say feminized because trust me, you don't wanna scrog regulars and find out down the road that their males!!

You won't need anything else intill much later(I know better safe than sorry)I know alot of people that went all out on veg lights and nutrients and yadda yadda and they didn't use half of the stuff they thought they needed. You don't even need the carbon filter intill you flip, which if you're scrogging shouldn't be more than a month!!

And what happend to those you blew all that cash? On things they didnt need, they had to resell at alot cheaper than what they bough it for just to pay the electric bill!! Trust me it's not worth it... Play Life As You Go

I've owned that tent and it really did a great job keeping light out and has tons of ports.also felt very durable.

I would use the 16" oscillating fan. So you can also angle it up wards if needed, the tower is limited.

The 800 might get pretty hot in that tent , I know your current fans/inlines will be perfect with a 600, but if they can handle the 800 and you keep those babies moist with proper ph and food. You should get some great buds and avoid the cost of an AC unit.

Hope this helps.

If your tent is placed in a cold eviroment, I suggest using heat mats, couple of euhm.
Got me the same tent I believe, doing pretty well so far for my first run with it :) (siggy link)
