whats the story folks?!

Newbie grower here tired of paying outrageous prices for terrible weed!! Ireland...

Got fluorescent bulbs, cool and warm white with reflector and built a nice rack to raise light up and down. have read so many contrasting threads that i am not sure where i stand.. began germanating today and intend to plant in small glass when shoots appear!

from this point how much light should i give?

how much water in early stages?

is water at ph 7 good enough?

Basically any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Im very excited, but also nervous i may get it all wrong...

you shouldnt plant anything in a glass because it has no drainage holes.make some makeshift pots out of something plastic,like a bottle.try to make the bottles black or any dark colour because roots like darkness.you can wrap dome duck tape or something around the bottle.
when it comes to watering dont soak the soil,just have the soil fairly loose and nicely damp.you can always spray water on the top of the soil to keep it damp.do not let the soil dry out.its far to early for that.
and the light you have at the moment will do for now for your seedlings,but you will need to upgrade to cfl's or hid's.and ph 7 is ok,a little lower would be better,but 7 is ok.

I have tried everything and to me the best is fabric pots. I always ph my water to 6.2-6.5 . Key to ph is to make sure you ph your nute after mix...lucky for me our water is like 9.0 and once I add nutes it sits at ideal ph. I really only need to knock down the pure water. I also add into my soils about 6tbspoons dolomite lime in a 7 gal pot soil...will keep ph in check and also keep calcium/mag up.
