What fucking connecting piece do you keep imagining!? You've already got it there. It's the second half of that orange clip.... the one with 2 holes and no wires.

All they're gonna do is sell you a roll of 12-2 and a NEMA 5-15P FOR $25.

nope not yet. I had some CFLs so I just went with those. If I ever want to get it up. I'll go to HD.

ya, but I prob. won't for a while, but I'll help if I can. Right now I don't know much more than you. I know what I need cause I've seen it. I don't know much more than that.

If you are in the US it should be a 120 volt light and you just need to connect the white and black wires up to a lamp cord. I can't see the connector well enough but you can see if there is 2 holes where you can just slide the wires from a lamp cord into or maybe some screws to loosen up.

If all else fails just cut the orange connector off and wire your power cord up with wire nuts to the black and white wires, then plug it in and you shall see light.<<<<

Ya I knew all that, but thnx that pwr cord is what we both need for some reason they don't come with them

Okay im all set! got it done just now...i cut off the power cable from an old lamp, n just used it for my lights,,,works no problem! if you guys have any questions lemme know

Bro i am an electrician... tell you what cut off the orange end (its called a wago..) and then get yourself a cheap extension cord... cut off the female end not the plug end... now get two wire nuts and strip the black and white in the cord back about 1/2 inch ...do the same with the black and white in the light.... now use the wire nut to twist together the two blacks and then use the ohter wire nut and twist the two whites together.... walla plug it in all done............. =)-

Hey electrician! I'm not sure what I did or what a female wire is. Or any of that. I just twisted the ends of an extension cord, and the wires from the lamp, with my hands. I turned it on (scared as shit, cause I am not an electrician). It powered on, but the wires are bare, I'm afraid they'll eventually catch fire or something. Are they fine left a lone?
