Newbie mistake. Is it to late?

Im halfway into my first grow with 30 days into flowering and since it is my first grow I wanted to play God and Doctor.

About a week and a half ago I started getting yellow tips on 2 out of the 3 plants. I gave it a few days and decided to go with a Magnesium deficiency. They are still stretching and have bloomed. And after a treatment of Epsom salt and some tlc. One of the plants has perked back up while the other has slowly started to droop. I lost just about all of the fan leaves in the middle and the tops are starting to follow. While the bottom leaves just lay there. AND TODAY THE HAIRS ARE TURNING YELLOW. :wall:

I have 3 plants. One has been super cropped and hasn't given me any trouble. Another (one of the ones that started yellowing) has been topped and trimmed. It is small and has perked back up since treatment. Then the one having problems is growing all natural. No topping or trimming.

Im pretty sure I could have been over watering. They are in 5 gal pots . I changed the schedule to every 2 days from 3 because they looked a little thirsty (More or less the super cropped one but I wanted to keep feeding schedules the same). But I could be wrong because the small one is handling it well.

Now with this being my first grow it has all been about learning. I am just about ready to chop it down and focus on the other two. I have it sitting on the table waiting as I write this. With it being so late into flowing I'm wondering if it will recover or produce anything worth it. Just wanted to to get some opinions before I murder it.
:fire:

So I ask of you is it to late?

You have 1 hour. The clock starts NOW!!!

If you give it some love it might surprise you…. or not. Even you chop her you need to try to make sure of what happened to it so that it doesnt happen again. Cheers

How tall/large are the plants? If they are not very large it is easy to overwater in a 5 gal container. If it were me I would probably leave it in the grow room and let it dry out almost completely. Obviously just a guess without a pic...

It's hard to tell, could be overwatering. With clay pots they only turn dark like that when the medium is completely wet. I don't have a lot of conviction on what it could be so won't risk sending you in the wrong direction. One comment, it doesn't look like its a 5 gal pot.

id say try to save it, not quite sure what the problem is tho, sorry. but if you save it you will know for future reference how to fix the problem when it first shows, like you said your first grow is a learning process.

I could be wrong then. Got them from a yard sell and took a guess at it.

I would guess it is a 2 or 2 1/2 gallon. It should work fine for plants up to about that size. As you let it dry out maybe give it a foliar spray with some epsom salt every couple days. It does look sick, not sure how much it will recover. A first grow is always a learning experience.

I guess I won't give up on her just yet. Just going to cut back on the watering and hope for the best.

Cascadian I didn't think about adding epsom salt into the spray. But I will give it a try.

Thanks for the help. I know she appreciates it and I sure I will in the end.

no more clay pots unless bottom watering.
let it dry a bit then 300 ppm 6.3 ph

Bottom watering? Just looked it up. Seems a little complicated for me to start now but could be something I can use next grow. How do you know you have enough water? Would feeding be the same since it isn't being ran through the soil?

Seems like no matter how much reading I do there is still so much to learn.
