Newbie needs help

I have 10 Early Misty's put in 2 inch jiffy pots and in a mini greenhouse. It has been about 3 weeks and the plants are only 4 inches tall and are forming leaves on top but very thin and not branching out. Is this normal at the beginning or should i change some factor, such as soil....etc. Thanks in advanced.

if youstill have them in the mini green house you need to takethem out. they need a good amount of air flow, get some good lights, cfl's willwork just fine veg and flower hids are better during flower though. please tellmore about your setup or plans.

Its actually an outdoor grow now i have around 17 seedlings in the mini greenhouse. Soon i plan to take some out and put in 1 gallon buckets outside, I will keep the rest of the seedlings in the greenhouse as it is still somewhat cold here at night. Do you think I eventually need larger than 1 gal buckets or is that going to be big enough?

The one gals are good enough for one plant each.
They'll get big and fluffy with buds. Now... How much sunlight do you get and how intense?Is there alot of wind outside? How big is your greenhouse? I need details..

The greenhouse is about 2 feet by 2 feet by three feet tall with two shelves there all in 4 inch jiffy pots with some miracle grow moisture vontroll soil they get probably a varied amount of sun depending on the day but usually get full sun . They don't get any wind in the greenhouse but outside it's fairly light .

well not sure what yougat going on over there or what youare thinking you are going to get, but i tkink maybe youshould click in my signature and have a look see. yes they may be in the ground but they were in pots last year and were that size at harvest. shiti stillhave what 4 to 5 moths left.

Well if its light wind then it would be good for growing plants, and 17 seedlings in a 2x2x3? Haha.. Yeah.. Your going to need to move out quite a few outside. They're going to get pretty big in a short time with deep intense sunlight. Use clean water no nute's untill about 6 inches and then your good. You wont see too much branching out till later.. unless your using lights i think.

You're the only other person I've seen growing Early Misty!

I too have 10 Early Misty's. Mine are currently in 5 inch jiffy's. I was planning on growing them outside in 5 gallon smart pots - but had to switch to indoor.

They seem to grow very slowly...I see other posts where after a few weeks their plants look like mine after a few months. But mine are healthy and seem happy - so I'm just waiting.

Also...they drink alot! Get a moisture meter. The symptoms of overwatering vs underwatering are the same...
