Newbie question - best strain for a small area

Hi i'm thinking of setting up a little grow of mysef, the place I have to grow is a bedside table.

16 1/2inch's length x 26inch's High x 13 1/2 width inch's so it is a small area.

was thinking 80mm intake fan and 120mm exhaust fan

painted white inside using a 85W CFL

Whats the best stain for the restricted area for yeild.

Would i need to carbon filter the exhaust fan or both the intake and exhaust.

Well, your definately going to want to go with something thats indica dominant, but as to the specific strain thats a tough call. Your only going to fit one plant into a space that size and given the height limitations your probably going to want to do a screen of green set up, so pretty much any of the Indica strains should work.

Id go with an autoflower strain (LR,LR2,gangja dwarf...etc) or small indica like NL of g13 etc... I'd search seed company websites for small heavily indica strains. websites also usually give the average height of plants.

Also for the intake, no carbon filter is needs, just on the exhaust.

For me I don't even know im going to use a filter on the exhaust though, thinking of using G13 buddha which has very little smell

with autoflower strains would i need both types of bulb (2700k 6500k) or could I use one throughout the grow?

I've never grown an autoflower (I would like to but there are no seed companies in Toronto that sell them) but I would imagine the 2700k would be best since i believe its the "flower cfl". But I imagine both would work since autoflowers also work on any lighting regiment (12/12,24/7...). Autoflowers are over all a very versatile plant that, i heard, is fairly easy to grow.
