Just wanting to add my opinion to the thread. My first glance of the thread I seen one nice guy trying to help out. It is definitely not marijuana or a tree of any sort. It is in fact a controlled wild growing weed. Try looking up "Sulfur cinquefoil" Hope this helps

Yes, that's it! I didn't think I'd get an exact ID, but that must be what these are. Thanks for your help, I wont be wasting any more time keeping these things around. Just bad luck that it grew right over my seed spot. Good thing I already have a proper plant growing in a better spot away from this mess. It's looking good so far: http://i965.photobucket.com/albums/ae137/fraKctured/IMG_0139.jpg
No ID necessary on this one. :P

This tread can be closed now, this mystery's solved. Thanks again, James. Go treat yourself to a couple doobie snacks.:blsmoke:

Well, I kinda doubt that. This completely stumped me though, because that last pic is actually what came right up out of the ground where I planted my first seed...maybe it just never grew and the other shit came in over top of it? :S
Nah man, the flowers are a dead give-away.
And if that's what you grew last time, someone got over on you a bag of seeds lol.

I just had a mixed little baggie of seeds saved from old buds. I decided to plant a couple and see what happened, so I didn't get screwed or anything like that. I'm going to try and kill the rest of the invasive weeds off now before I try to grow there again.

Oh well, just another lesson learned. :peace:

I've been crazed about this plant too! I found it on the CWMA (Colorado Weed Management Association) site. It's VENICE MALLOW (scientific name is Hibiscus Trionum.)

Smile.
