So here's the setup. 600w hid from Apollo, 300w Mars (137w true). 6 inch exhaust fan with carvon filter. Ready to kick some ass

Am I able to put the fan and filter on the outside of the tent and suck the air out of the tent? Or should I use positive pressure? I have limited space with all the components and it kind of looks like shit in my opinion

Priceless!!! (Also had to do a double take to the OP just to make sure
)We have one fan sucking air into the tent up through the filter and out to the outside. All of this is inside the top of the tent to reduce noise through the neighboring rooms of the house. We originally were going to have the filter and fan be outside the tent lined up near the outdoor vent, but the other design made more sense.
Here are some other ways a fan and filter can added to your grow tent.
One other note. As long as the fan and filter combo are large enough. You could connect the small veg tent with the larger flower tent. Then use any of the set-ups below on the flower tent to vent and filter the air from both tents out into atmosphere.
