Well my girls have been growing into some nice beautiful bushy little shrubs. I would like peoples best guess as to when (roughly) is the best time to switch to 12/12 with these girls. They are showing nice short fat leaves of Indica, so I'm thinking the plants will double in size roughly (if I'm remembering things correctly). But that said I would like to get the right balance between me wanting to get about an oz for each girl, and them having enough space for such an optimistically modest harvest. The rough size of the plants (they are all now approximately the same size) now is about 12-14 inches across, and 5-6 inches height, but with considerable lateral growth. All (even Elvira who was accidentally topped) are reaching the edge of their containers, and are in need of some re-training again. I have an educated guess that about 2 more weeks of veg at 20/4, should be large enough for my purposes. But since I am still learning, and I am guessing, I'd like to hear other peoples educated guesses as to an approximate switch time to 12/12. Not asking for absolutes or perfection, just some general ball park figures, or confirmations...
Any help is greatly appreciated. I may know a lot about growing from reading/watching. But actually doing a grow from start to finish, all under the same roof so to speak is new, and is going to be taking me awhile before I am fully confident. I may have some knowledge, but I have little practical growing skills yet, I just need a few good grows under my belt and then I'll be feeling the appropriate confidence.
Anyway, let me know what you think, how far/much do you let them veg out to before going 12/12
