u can use what u have now if that is what u want to do

they are right about the light

i know your area ........know the CF
what other equipment do u have ...........that room we are going to need to do some work on it to make it Photo plant useable

Ok if you look at the pics above i have the lights im using in it.im not only using the sun cause i want 24 hour light im using the same kind of warm light i used for my baby chics when they hatched.i dont know what kind of light it is but its a large bulb and it gets very warm.i also has a cheap grow light from walmart its the one sitting on the bucket.in my pic.it says it uses 17w but i dont know how much walt it really gives out and i also have a box fan in the room i was told that the wind helps strengthen the plants.that room has central heat and air.it also has 2 nice size windows other then the sliding glass door.the soil im using has guano,worm casting,and fish stuff aready in it.im also using floranova grow for nutrients.

do u have some funds to spend on stronger lights

ok i see this is your first time .......what u have now will only work for the Growth part
Growth of a photo plant is controlled by the light waves and the timing u offer it ..........growth like Blue light (mh bulb) and a 18 hour on /6 hours off light timing (cfl terms daylight bright)
Flowering is where u are going to be introuble ..........flowering likes red light (hps bulb) and they need to be on a 12 hours on 12 off timing (that is going to be the issue) light leaks on the 12 hours off can mess up the plant and send u back into Growth mode ( cfl terms Warm Soft )

this is one of the other reasons i said tent

a photo plant u are mimicking the sunlight during spring and part of summer it is a Blue color until it hits the Longest day of the year after that the angle changes that we get the sun and it is more Red color and the hours of light are lessening

Ok so for now in this stage im good i just bought my clones on sunday so i have like 1 or 2 months to get better lights.
 
There are already flowers in your garden outside. It can't be that cold where you are. Plant them outside.

the sooner u get the stronger lights the quicker and more the plant will grow .......right now u have a little time 2 weeks or so .......then u should move the plants into a bigger Soil bag so the roots grow out

ma'am since this is your first time this is soil that is made for weed.....it requires no feeding u just water it

this soil will make it easy on until u get your head around all this ............the only thing u need to worry about with that soil is if your water is City water (city water adds chemicals to the water u need to let them purge out before u use ) fill the bathtub with hot water and walk away untill it is cool .......after that all the chemicals they added will have passed to the air and u can jug up the water for use (when i say jugs i mean water jugs or juice jugs .........MILK JUGS DO NOT WORK they will grow stuff in the water ....u can not clean them out 100% not with boiling hotwater or bleach or even one step cleaner)

as for the planter ..........i like the Soil air bags

i use 3 gallons for my smaller plants and 7 gallons for my larger ones ..........blue dream is a nice plant so i would say get a 5 or 7 gallon for it
 
Every week i will post my babys and see how they are growing please if you see anything wrong with the tell me.the first pics is on the top of this thread so saterday i will post new pics and every saterday after
 
I highly suggest you read and re read the How to grow Marijuana thread.Its posted in this same section newbie central 1st page 7th thread down .

Read it twice three times and go buy some real lights or just plant them outside and forget about them .

Thank u for the advice i there is no water in them now that was when i just planted them and put water and i used the metal pan not only to keep everthing from getting wet but so the lights can reflect of the aluminum.

And its still too cold and there is not enough sun hours to put them outside yet.
 
Hay if I could go out and buy expensive lights i would but at the moment i cant thats why im hoping they will be ok until i can get better lighting before they get to big.
