I've been thinking of buying their Grapefruit....but like you, haven't seen enough info....judging from this thread, it seems to be mixed reviews....however, I have heard great things about Grape God in the past....and their Romulan I've also heard great things of....which is another strain I wanted to try from them

We've grown a few grape god feminized. Fluffy buds, no taste, no horsepower. Disappointing really after reading so many positive reports.

I picked up a 5 pack of Romulan . Popped 3 seeds got 2 females. Both were full-blown hermies early into flowering. I grew them out and the buds were pretty good. Not good enough to risk a batch with hermie pollen though.

OK, Next Generation Seeds look good from what I've seen. Great rep from years ago as well as what are described to be amazingly strong smokes for Island Sweet Skunk and Romulan Diesel.

Anyone actually grow these seeds out since they've been on attitude? I'm curious
how they compare with subcools gear... As i've gotten picky in my genetics i've backed away from things like barneys farm because although they are excelent growers they seem to lack the euphoria in their highs. Their highs are strong, just not quite the euphoric high I look for. I smoke everything I grow so I want quality in every plant (or of course at least an 80% chance it will be excelent smoke).

So how does Sweet Island skunk or their Romulan compare to subcools gear or cali connection gear? not clones but from seeds since thats all i can get ahold of here.

Thanks in advance for your guys help!
Hey man.. I have grown next Generation many times many different strains and I can say they are the only company I've never lost a seed to.. there strains are absolutely the best.. fastest flowering I've seen and highest thc content I've seen consistently. I feel like most places lie either about flowering time or thc content.. iwhole heartedly trust them with providing a quality consistent product try them out and u won't go back.. he used to win cups but he doesn't bother to enter anymore I feel like he focuses on making his products not selling them

IMHO next generation seeds are crap...made the mistake of wasting money on their product..0-5 germination on Grape God, and 0-5 germination on NY Purple Diesel.. On the other hand, my Sannies sugar punch and DNA lemon skunk popped in less than 24 hours. All seeds were germinated the same way. Tried contacting Mr. JayGeneration, and just like all the other people who think his seeds are shit, got no response.
Exact same experience here. Heard great things about Island Sweet Skunk for outdoor growing. Ordered a pack, and ONE SEED POPPED. Completely ignored on emails after purchase, but quick to answer before I paid anything.

I am about to run Next Generations Seeds for the first time, I have a buddy who has a ton of his strains and I am going to sift through some of them..

Has anyone tried his ogopogo? Does anyone know what og was used?

I am looking at running the following from him.

Snowbank "Banner x Grapefruit"
Banner x Avalon
Grapegod x Blueberry
Grapefruit Kush or OGPOGO, I need to research these 2.

Hopefully I find something in these.. I hear his Banner is testing over 27% thc.. I also hear the Blueberry is DJ Short's older version "not sure".

I recently purchased some acapulco gold and island sweet skunk. The ISS germination was 30% and had abnormal growth characteristics, so were culled, the AG were very slow to germ, and so far show no vigor at all. Overall, I am disappointed. I don't feel like contacting them about it, I've got better ways to waste my time.

I have an old pack of Next Gen's blueberry X romulan. I'll have to dig them out and see if they even pop!

I had a very poor next generation experience this year also. Specifically ordered ISS, and several weeks later receive an envelope in the mail with seeds stuffed in corrugated plastic. 3 strains marked with sharpie….no ISS though. The two I wet didn’t pop.

Amazing they can get away with selling seeds that don't sprout, and ignore when customers mention it.

Yea it’s weird because the breeder (forgot name because I smoke eerryday) and I had like a 20 minute phone call and it was all good vibes until I got the order in the mail. I was so so stoked on hunting through the two 10 packs of ISS I thought I was ordering

His name is Jay. Did you phone him because you paid by credit card? If so, dispute it. I wasn't comfortable giving my credit card info over the phone, so I sent an e-transfer. At least with a credit card I could have disputed the charge due to 1 seed sprouting, and his email replies suddenly stopping when I said 'hey, only 1 seed sprouted out of the whole pack'.

Been growing his stuff for years with no issues, never had one bean not pop but some strains were better than others. The Ogopogo strain is a winner if you like that old kush taste

Yes the Ogopogo is a winner , it was easy to grow, hard nugs, super tasty kush and everyone wants more

Tru jordon of the islands....great canadian breeder.
Next gen has been around for years, they used to have a stellar rep,but it had declined drastically over the years.
I think hes sold very old stock hence the bad germ rates.sadly i wouldnt buy from them anymore.i use joti and csi humbolt exclusively

I only have one mother plant Avalon x Space regs from next gen and now have a reg mom animal cookies and a reg mom bubblegum breath from bc bud depot, I stopped growing feminized seeds and I'm still pheno hunting for that special one from regs. I've found feminized seeds to be a gamble as to whether or not you will get great bud or a boof pheno. You have to put the work in to find a great mother plant and I wouldn't recommend making a mother from feminized seed

Jordon and next generation used to be partners but went their separate ways
