cheers tip top, have one for me :peace:

i was just outside looking at my outdoor girl, gggggreat weather i must say, and thrilled i took them out for fresh air and sunshine...i've noticed that everytime i move this one plant that there are fire ants everywhere under it, not on the plant nor the soil, but i am sure they are crawling up in the 5 gallon bucket. this happens under trash cans, buckets, many things here attract ants that can create hills in no time. idk anything about ants, anyone know if they will hurt the plant? i don't want them screwing up the root system or anything like that. plant looks great tho :weed:

Hi mysunnyboy may I suggest a different way of germinating other than paper towel method I've found to be much more effective and healthy for the plant.

Here's what I do: if you don't have a seed warming mat go to your nursery and buy one. Buy a humidity dome also if you don't have one. Take some small cups ( I use casino cups for quarters, they're perfect, and free) and cut some drainage holes in it. Then fill it up with your soil.

Poke a hole with a bamboo stick and put your seed in and cover it. Don't plant it very deep at all, just about a 1/4 inch.

Spray seed cup twice a day and keep under dome with warming mat. You should see a sprout in 3-4 days. This method cuts down on time double.

as far as ants, they can cause root damage by their burrowing in the dirt. they also herd mealy bugs and aphids. there were times I had an army of ants all over my plants. I put diamaticious earth(spl?) D.E., around the soil at the base of my plants and that helped.

There was a time in my life I looked in one of my plants and saw hundreds (probly) of ants. I almost had a heart attack.

Diotomacieous Earth worked wonders for those fuckers. I didn't even have aphids either.

for what its worth, theres like a 90% chance that seeds gonna turn into a female for yah... most bag seeds are a result of a hermie flower self pollinating :)

ahhh put it in with my clones huh? i think i will do just that, especially since it's already all nice and plump. i hate the germinating seed bit, i suck at getting them thru that testy sprout stage.

i am with you guys on the heart attack thing. i hate those MFers. i'ma try that dima earth stuff. that's my hash plant ant  STAY AWAY

hey oakley let's hope so :-) a free female sour diesel plant would be maaarvelous. i'm gonna put it in the soil now :peace:
