A friend from www.autoflower.net who goes by the name "autobeast" has taught me his ways. First you want to start off with some good grow bags so the roots can breath. 3 to 5 gallon grow bags can grow you some big autos and you'll never need anything over a 5 gallon grow bag. Rule of thumb is 1 gallon per month of growth. Autoflowering strains grow usually in 2 to 3 months depending on strain some can go even longer. I use 3 gallon grow bags myself.

Next you want a good potting soil. I like to use bio bizz light mix as its ph balanced and dont need to add anything to the soil like perlite since it already has perlite in it. Add some ph perfect nutrients and you have the easiest set up ever. No messing with ph or even checking ph ever.

Next you want some good seeds from a reputable breeder. I live in the USA and lots of breeders won't ship to me. But I found a site called "the single seed centre" https://www.worldwide-marijuana-seeds.com A local grower and friend of mine recommended them to me. They are very reputable and they ship to the USA and they order seeds from lots of seed banks world wide and sell them individually or in 3 or 5 or 6 or 7 or 12 or 18 packs depending on the breeder. I like that you can order a single seed though. Some bad ass breeders I recommend are: Dutch Passion is #1 in autoflowering genetics, some other good ones are Auto Seeds, Barneys Farm, Fast Buds, Heavyweight, dinafem, royal queen seeds, Bomb, mephisto genetics. If you start with good genetics you will do much better than with bagseed or shitty genetics. Do some google research on highest yielding autoflowers or highest thc autoflowers or fastest growing autoflowers and get a good variety going of good genetics.

Once you have your seeds you should fill your grow bags up with soil and plant one seed per grow bag. Next you will want get some 1.5 litre juice bottles for watering. I use 1.5 liter juice bottles that have been washed and cleaned out thoroughly throughout the entire grow. After I plant the seedling I feed each pot 2 1.5 litre bottles of its first feed. Each 1.5 litre bottle gets tap water filled up and add 2ml Dutch pro take root and 2ml Dutch pro multi total. Feed two 1.5 litre bottles to the pot after you have planted your seed. Wait for it to pop above the soil.

Wait for the seedling to pop above ground then start running your grow light on it. At this point I let the soil get dry before I water again. They don't drink a lot when they're small so don't over water them. They don't need any more nutrients or fertilizer for the first 3 weeks. I only feed tap water to them in small amounts whenever they are dry. You will have some beautiful plants after 3 weeks feeding with just tap water as the soil will do it's job.

Now let's talk about plant food. I use ph perfect advanced nutrients sensi grow 2 part a and b and sensi bloom 2 part a and b, advanced nutrients sensi cal mag extra, and unsulphered organic molasses the last 3 weeks of flower.

The first feeding starts at 3 weeks with 2ml of Sensi grow a and 2ml of sensi grow b to 1.5 litres of water. Each plant gets a whole 1.5 bottle of water mixed with the feed. I feed them 1 bottle of water each every three days at this point. Every week I bump the feed up 1ml. Always feed plain water in between feeds for good health of your l
Plants. I usually feed with sensi grow until I see the stretch has stopped. So only about 2 weeks of veg feed usually depends on the strain, then onto bloom feed. By week 4 the plants will have good solid root structure. They will drink more at this point, so i will feed them 1.5 litres of feed in the morning and then at night I give them 1.5 litres of plain tap water every 3 days with plain waterings in between feedings.

When I start with bloom feed I always start out with 1.5 ml of sensi cal mag, then add 5ml each of sensi bloom a and b in a 1.5 litre bottle of water. Again feed every 3 days, twice a week, and with plain water waterings in between feeds. Do this until flush time. When the buds are full flowering, about 3 weeks before harvest, add a couple drops per bottle of the mollases, it will work a treat and makes for some nice frosty buds.

Soil loves beneficial bacteria. Synthetic nutrients can kill the microbes in soil so its good to replace them, people also use Bennie's in hydro or coco coir. It's good to brew a good compost tea. Here is my method here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/easiest-fastest-cheap-tea-brewing-101.979754/

Here is Heisenbergs method here for a more diverse tea and better understanding. Beneficial tea keeps your roots healthy and happy and free of bad bacteria such as pythium (root rot). Here is Heisenbergs method which many use with 100 percent success, takes longer than my method and a little more complex.
