Night and Day Temperatures

Hi all I was wondering just how important it is for there to be a drop in temperature at night and a rise during the day or is it ok to keep the temperature the same for night and day. If the drop at night is important how does one go about getting the temp to drop in a controlled environment? Please keep in mind that I am on a very tight budget. Thanks in advance for your grow wisdom.

Air conditioner for night. The drop helps growth and color of the plant. I used to keep temps the same and not much growth now I blast my air while the lights off with tent open and notice a deference.

lowwer temps will bring out colors but not much else.UNless your growing a purp veriety or something i wouldnt bother.Higher temps bring out the resin.but lights out it should be cool enough.
