Night temp

Everywhere I read says no more than a 10F drop at night(no less than 70F actual temp).
What is the ideal temperature at night? Not a minimum, an ideal constant night temp?
Is it 70F? Is it day time temp?

nights no lower than 65F

These temps however are only guidelines you can create shorter internodes by keeping everything at 75F day and night.

You can steer a plant generatively by dropping day temps and allowing an 8F drop on night temps.

You can induce purple colouring with colder nights in strains that have a tendency to purple .

Personally i keep canopy temps below 83F ambient temps around 75F and nights around 70F.


Its whatever works for your situation.

Hey buddy, this is some great info. Thanks. I always thought that this would apply becuz I think of the places where weed grows outdoors, Spain, Afghanastan, Parts of California where it's stays warm all day and night with a drop between 10-15 degrees at best and it's still 70-80 at Midnight. Great Find!!!! Thank you do your share :-)

Now I must design a PC box that can maintain constant temp of 78f. Have a great day!!!!
