Nirvana Chrystal Review

yeaaa im excited also for my chrystal plants i have vegged them for 1.5 months getting ready to flower in 2 weeks under 1000 watt hps :)
 
i just picked up one from my local club out her in az and i was wondering what the watering schedule should be and how often i should nute feed this one chrystal girl. i just put her in a 3 gal. fox farm ocean forest floor smart pot with some 200 watt cfl and a 101 watt straight tube fluro. any help would be great :)

Where did you get those Grape Ape seeds- or are they Great Ape?
I have tried Grape Ape from the clinics a couple years back and found it to be a good 'pain strain'.
Maybe I haven't look hard enough, but I can't seem to find where to purchase these seeds.

sry for the late response. I ended up with 4 seeds in an eighth of some grape ape. grew two of them and still have the other two. i was lucky to find those, i cant find pure grape ape anywhere, and i dont really like king's kush a whole lot(which i have about 20 seeds of) which is the only other grape ape hybrid i know of. Grape ape was orginally made by apothecary from what i understand. thats why greenhouse carries the kind kush as they seemed to have collabed a bit for a few strains. honestly they screwed up a few strains together too... but thats another story.

hey sry i didnt notice right away. my chrystal was a water hog, it grew fast too. so i ended up watering it about every other day in a 10L pot in flower. honestly closer to 36 hrs between watering id say. I didnt have any nice nutes, i just let it suck off of the FFOF i planted it in and a flowertab from nirvana. hope yours turned out nice!

what ppm do you have yours? mine grow great but i always some way some how show signs of deficiencies cant seem to get them dialed in perfect. the strain is a great strain though. i got these and black jack from nirvana and loving both. i harvested last time at about 9 weeks. think im gonna go a lil earlier this time. im at about day 53 and i'll start flushing tomorrow and harvest right around day 60 or so.

I use gh 3 part. My ppms were between 1100-1200. I pretty much eased them into that using there feeding schedule but I upped the ppms a little more gradually then they said too.
 
BTW I have grown a few more phenos now... One was a bit stretchy, but gave the strongest high of them all.
It also had very dark purple streaks on its calyxes outdoors in Michigan. It loved the outdoor. And it's been a dream to grow indoor as well.

I know Nirvana can get a bad reputation sometimes, especially for copy cat strains... But this is they're own.

A NL#5 x white widow was gifted and they took a NL back to it. Results: Chrystal. It's in a skunk milf article too. Well deserved. Holds its own even today vs the chemdawg stuff and etc.

It grows a lil more sativa dom than say my Dinafem blue widow for example too. Another widow/indica hybrid or even nirvanas white castle and white rhino both.
The Chrystal was closer to the white castle in sativa vs indica , but I prefer Chrystal a lot surpringly. White castle was maybe an easier trained and better yielder tho, but a good Chrystal pheno yields good too

Regardless of what breeder or type etc chemdawg or something even... I still say Chrystal is one of my very favorite strains to grow and smoke. The first one I grew even had a fruity taste. I shared a joint w a guy who grows this DJ short blueberry he won't give a cut away of... He thinks it's the ultimate. It's just OK lol.

Well he hit a joint of the last bits of what I had of that pheno... Instantly stunned me by saying it tasted great , took a couple more hits n I noticed his eyes were super red lol. He even tripped a lil and said " I'm high... hey wait , you flushed the plant out right dude!? .. Oh OK. Mumble..etc". Lol.
I got him fucking ripped n it was fruitier than his big bad blueberry.

But anyways yea much love goes out to this strain... One of the best investments I ever made.

BTW I had Fem seed version. Highly suggest this strain. Easy, good, cheap.
 
Garbage. Ridiculous variation, most phenos completely worthless bud structure. One out of five had normal bud structure but each bud was separated by a long piece of blank stalk and also never got to any kind of decent size and also foxtailed. Like I said, fucking garbage. Average potency, for a few decades ago. Never ripens. Just don't waste your money on Nirvana shit. Another crappy Dutch seed company like all the others.
 
The best thing Nirvana supplies is pure power plant, alot of yied, high potency (mid 20% THC phenotypes exist) and 9-10week flower
