Nirvana El Dorado?

This is currently the "Weekend Whopper" deal at Nirvana site...buy one pack (10ea) reg seeds, get one pack free.

Contemplating picking up a few packs...thought it might be a nice one to grow outdoors here in SoCal someday.

Has anyone here grown this?

Here's Nirvana's description:

"Eldorado is a remarkable Cannabis Sativa from the Oaxaca region of Mexico. At Nirvana, we have been selectively backcrossing this marijuana landrace for at least a dozen generations. Eldorado provides a crisp, sharp and inspiring high that is rarely found in other cannabis strains. Its buds are thin and airy, which means yields are not of particular commercial interest, but fortunately, the quality of Eldorado smoke is the stuff of marijuana legends!"

"The stuff of marijuana legends"? Really?

lol, not sure if you are still interested in thisbut i would pass. If you are going to grow you need to look for two things. Quiality first and formmost and quantity. If it lacks either i would pass. Just my oppinion. Have fun.

Well seeing as OP lives on sativa lane and is looking for connaseur quality bud I don't think yeild is his reason for waning to grow this. I would really like to see his one grown out. It was originally offered as an offering from the sativa seedbank collection of nirvana only and I'm growing their hawaiian sativa and it's a lovely plant, still have a few weeks left to try it though. I'm also growing a oaxacan variety from somewher else and yes the strain is legenday IDK if the sativa seedbank's version is good or not though.

Actually I did take advantage of this deal. I'm getting really interested in landrace strains, so this one seemed like a cheap way to try out a mexican variety. Twenty seeds for around forty bucks. If I can find one keeper in the bunch, it'll be well worth it. I'll probly try to grow it outdoors here in SoCal. And you're exactly right...I don't expect this one to be a heavy yielder at all. Which oaxacan strain are you growing now?

I just finished growing their Maui Waui. I think you'll like the results...and yes, a very lovely plant and quite easy to grow. Likes to stretch, but easily managed. Not the most potent bud I've ever smoked, but def a nice sativa in its effects. I did have one female that was a surprisingly good yielder, too. I'll probly grow it again sometime in the future...and I def think it's worth trying another one of sativa seedbank's offerings. I've read good things about their Blackjack, but haven't sampled any yet.
