**Nirvana's Feminized White Widow CFL Grow**

Hey everyone. Well I ordered my White Widow seeds from Nirvana last week, on Dec. 23rd to be exact, and my order status switched to "Shipped" on the 24th. So right now I am just waiting to get the seeds, sadly I wont get any mail today, since its New Years.

I’m hoping that it might come tomorrow or Monday. I ordered 5 feminized White Widow seeds, and plan on germinating 3, and keeping the other 2 for back up in case something goes wrong. I plant on vegging two of them for 2-3 weeks at the most and keeping 1 as a mother plant I only want to veg for a couple weeks because my last grow, I vegged 4 plants for 3 weeks (I wanted to veg them for 4 weeks, but for some reason my timer got set and so I just had to start them then) and as of right now, they are standing at a varied height, the shortest being 2ft and the tallest being just under 3ft. I only wanted my plants to be about a 1½ ft tall, because of lighting and space limits. Lol.

But right now I’m trying my best with those plants. I plan on starting off, growing these plants with CFL’s, and once my money for school comes in, which will probably be around late January to early February, switching over to a 400 watt HPS, and I’ll also have a conversion MH bulb for vegging my clones I take from the mother.

As soon as my seeds arrive, I will take some pics of everything that I will be using, and start the journal for real. If anyone has any questions/comments, just post away.

wow LOL sounds like your doing almost the exact thing as I am right now. Only I got my seeds in just over two weeks ago. I got Aurora Indica 5 Feminized and planted three and keep two for back up. I put two in a 10 gallon bubble tote to grow and bud asap. And I'm using the 3rd foe a mother plant. I also start out with CFL lights I use 1 at first and the put on 2 26watt 6500k CFL on until the 3rd week. Then I transplant and move them to my 400watt MH conversion set up. So far that as far as I am, I just reached 3 weeks today! Start a journal I will follow your progress. I too am starting a journal I'm new to this sight though I hope I do It right. WOW!! Lol. That’s crazy!! I cant believe your doing pretty much the same exact thing I’m doing, almost every single thing is the same. Lol. Ok but I got a couple questions, exactly how long did it take for your seeds to come from when your status changed over to shipped? And also, do you have a link to your journal? Because I would like to watch your grow too. I honestly always overlooked the Aurora seeds, I don’t know why. I think it might just have been because of the picture they show on their web-site. It just doesn’t seem like a good pic. But that’s why I would like to follow your grow and see how it turns out.

If you need any help on how to start your thread, or putting in a poll, or posting up pictured just let me know. I’m somewhat new here too, but I will do my best to help. When I receive my money from school, which will be about 3 grand =), I plan on getting the light as I said before, but I also want to order a few more strains from Nirvana, and so I would love to see your plant grow.

Have you ever looked into trying some Auto’s? I’ve read LOTS of journals that people made while growing Auto’s, and everyone seems to be VERY happy with the yield and smoke. They usually yield about 1 ounce per plant, but it only takes about 60 days from seed to harvest, which is pretty damn good. Lol. It would be awesome if you had like 10 of them growing at once. =) They have a pretty good amount of different strains too that are Auto’s, such as Blueberry and AK-47.

IiOm happy to say... I jut opened up my mail an got my seeds from nirvana!!! Soo it took 8 days to come!! Even tho I ordered them the day before Christmas. I think they woulda came a day or 2 earlier if it wasn't for Christmas and new years. Cuz I didn't get mail for the last to days. And with the seeds also came a little gift which was cool. Not gonna say what it was but it had to do with chistmas. Which was nice of them. AND I also got 10 free seeds!! Which was an even bigger suprise!! It doesn't say what they are. But I don't care. I know they must be from their seed bank. Sooo that's good enough for me!! Lol once I start growin in I'll make a journal and make a poll so you guys can guess which strain it is. Well just wanted to let you guys know they came and they're all fine. None are crushed and they all look good too!! I will deff order from them again! A++++

I will be postin some pics of the seeds on Monday probably. They just came in a little mini ziplock bag. That had a golden sticker that sais nirvana. White widow. And the other bag with te 10 freebies just has the work FREE written on it in black marker. Can't wait to plant them!! I'm still debating on wether or not I'm gonna germinate the seeds now and start them on 18/6 and then move them into the new house durin the dark period. Or if I should just wait and start them as soon as I get to the new house..? Idk. I wanna get the vegging out I'd the way tho. Soo I can start flowering as soon as I get to the new house. Idk. I'll figure something out.

heyy. well im packin up now.. movin to my new place on the 15.. in 4 days. sooo im gonna germinate them probly the 13th or 14th. and give them a couple days to get a long enough taproot by the 15th sooo i can start veggin as soon as i move in.. i plan on updating this thread daily once things get started... i cant wait!! im harvestibg my other plants in a day or two too.. gonna trim all the leaves off tomorow and let it have a day of light with no leaves.. dont think theyre gonna be that great tho since they went hermie on me.. and i dont want any pollen comin to the new house...

Alright... we have liftoff.. kinda. I germinated 2 seeds today, like a 1/2 hour ago. Im moving to my new house tomorow, so im hoping to be able to plant the seeds within the next day or two. Im going to post some pics of the seeds and the germinating thingy i made. stay tuned... im gonna try to update this thread daily once they go into soil.. wish me luck guys!!

Heyy ughhh. I just write this big ass long update and went to post it. And it got fucking erased because there was an error!! > well. I'll just do a quicker shorter version of it. Basically. Right mow I have the 2 seeds in 2 jiffy peat pellets I bought from lowes the other day and damnnnn do they have alotta plant stuff. I've alwas went to home depot to get my plant stuff. But now I'm gonna go to lowes instead. I was thinking thy once the roots come through the pellet. I might put the seedling in one of those biodegradable pots... Not sure yet tho. I have plenty if plastic pots I can use. Also. I was in a rush when I was in lowes. But I felt like a kid in a candy store. Lol. But I wanna see what else they have for soil and nutes. I bought a bag of miracle grow seed starting soil to start te seeda off with. I used miracle grow moisture control for my 2nd grow (all the plants went hermie tho) and the plants grew great!! Wayy better than my 1st grow. Soo I trust miracle grow. Also. My mom gets her taxes in a week or two. An she's givin me 200 bucks. Sooo I might get my light sooner that I thought. an I was also thinking. Depending on how much money I have left over... I might buy a dew auto flowering seeds.. Just so I can get some good sensi weed fast. Since they finish in like 60 days. Not sure yet. I will take and post some pics tomorow. Hopefully there will be something coming out if the pellet. Lol. Sorry haven't really updated. The move was crazy!! But were finally all settled in. My other plant I have is looking great! It's about 8 or 9 weeks into flowering. It's gonna take like 13-15 weeks to finish tjo I think. It started off really really slowly. I'll post pics of that plant in my other journal. The one that said 1st grow -bagseed. Ok. Hope something is sprouted by tomorow. Deff be postin pics up tomorow.

MG can work well, it just takes some extra care to not over water aka blast with nutes.

yeaaa. i agree. thats why its such a big problem if you get nute burn while using Miracle Grow, because you cant really flush it.. =-/ but like i said, once i have some time, im gonna go to Lowes and see if they have any BETTER soil.... but yeaaa. i just got back from Renta Center.. i got myself a little mini notebook now.. soo ill be able to update more frequently. and i have a little jack for my memory stcks.. soo uploadin pics should be easier as well.. i do have one good UPDATE for you guys.... ONE seed did make it out of the ground!! =-) its about 1/2 in out of the soil.. soo im hoping its sister will be pokin her head out soon as well.. i will get some pics of that as well and put them up today for you guys.. hopin to get a descent amount of people following this thread... thats what i hope anywayz. lol.

They aren't usually big yeilders but the quality is phenomenal.

wow.. those looked fuckin awesome!! well i only got the 1st pic.. but still.. they looked great!! was that WW from Nirvana?? and i LOVE the purple! it makes it look even better.. yours is FULL of crystals too! what were your temps like for them to turn THAT perple..?? i would love to try to duplicate those results!

Temps that drop over 25 degrees cause the purple.

Say I keep the room @ 75
night temps under 50 will cause them to turn purple during flowering. A lot of strains will do that. The dont always have to be "purp" strains.

wow.. i can only pray that my white widow come out HALF as good looking as yours do.. those look beautiful.. how long did they take to flower?? some people say 9 weeks.. and others say 11 or 12.. and then some people say theyre short plants.. and others say theyre tall and lanky...??

It all depends.
I think Widow should be harvested @ 11 weeks.
The pics I posted were 11.5 week harvest.

My harvest just prior to these were at 10 weeks.
the buds weren't as juicy and fat.

But one thing you should keep in mind.

White widow is typically a big eater. They also may need Supplementary Magnesium.
Dont let me get to far ahead but WW can be a little advanced grow. I dont think mg food will cut it. Trust me save yourself a huge ordeal and Buy Foxfarm nutes.
