Nitorgen Toxicity

Hi Guys,

I wanted to know what issue I am having with my plants.

I am using soft water GHE 3part nutes (1.5ml/l Grow, 1ml/l Micro and 0.5ml/l Bllom) following the growing recommended nutrients at 80% strength. Plants are week 4 of veg.

PPM 550-600 and Ph of 5.7

The plant is under a 240w LED.

I have had some root issues but have resolved them and I feel like something is still not right

nute burn.
vegetative feed schedule: 3.5ml micro; 3.5ml gro and 2ml bloom in 5 liter container.

Definitely not nitrogen toxicity. The leaves would be extremely dark green. Also, just the tips of the leaves will claw down if there is too much nitrogen.

I don’t know your nute lineup or amounts but most people will recommend starting at 50% and working your way up until the plants start showing issues from too much food. Did you slowly increase the feed or just start at 85% of their recommendations?

That type of chlorosis looked a copper deficiency this old person had a long time ago when I was running hydro, where the edges of the leafs were turning yellow but the insides were still greenish, but I am no expert. I think that your pH of 5.7 might be the issue and may affect some nutrient absorption. Maybe try going to 6.0-6.2 pH and try to eliminate as many possibilities and see what happens. In the words of Leslie Nielsen, "I just wanted to tell you good luck, we're all counting on you."
