doesnt matter....they say 24/0 for first week for rapid foliage growth then 18/6 after to give plant down time for root growth....

ya....put white paper all around my growroom and came back the next day...my topped plant grew an inch.....
 
oh nice, well unfortunately, i dont have the cash :(

and i live on an island so i have no chains here except for radio shack and ace hardware. do u think it would help to make a reflector out of tinfoil?
 
aluminum foil. is bad in every way.

even if you lived on a island you could still get shit shipped thier.

i mean i would just save up like 150$ AND get a lil 150 watt. HPS.
 
well, to add on to hank, the sun is the cheapest form of light out there and it's still the most powerful. If you got the weather (hawaii?) then try outside, it's a little slower but hey most of us here if we had hawaiian or aussie weather we'd grow outside. I was doing this same thing with my plant early on, sunlight when I could lights when I couldnt, I found out the light differentials stress the plant, and going from sun to cfl is a pretty big stretch. I would suggest find which one (indoor/outdoor) is best for you and then run away with it. lata.
 
Looks normal bro. Once the first set of true leaves appear, the cotyledons(those first two rounded leaves) are no longer neccesary. They are only used to gather enough sunlight to get the seedling started and then they can be cut off with no effect.

Over and under watering will make the plants leaves become droopy. Under watering makes the leaves a crispier droop, while over watering just makes them droopy but they still contain moisture.
