Nitrogen nutes during flower?

So I know that yellowing leaves starting from the bottom up is normal in the latter part of flowering, but how much is too much and what if its not just the lower leaves?

I am on day 34 of flowering Girl Scout Cookies by Nirvana seeds. FFOF soil 3 gallon pot Hlg135 Led in a 2x2.
Temps 70-78 day 65-70 at night
Rh 40-65

Should I ad some veg nutes to my next feeding or just ride it out?

Can you give us some kind of details of your nutrients used etc. anything you can think of that you added

yes. give her 2 doses of "veg food" (grow big) It will help a LOT. You should not be fading to yellow this early in their cycle. FFOF soil is inconsistent. i love it but its not thwe same every time. sometimes i gotta add grow big and sometimes i wont use any veg food in bloom. No big deal at all. 2 doses of GB , then back to your regular schedule. (be very carful with the fox farm nute schedule , its too strong for almost all species)

I actually have been slacking on the ph since starting the flower nutes. That may be the issue I need to feed today so I'll get that straight and check runnoff ph?

Runoff PH isn't that important as long as you're getting run off. I usually check my run off PPM/EC. I'll be honest Fox Farms Soil is really bad the last couple years and your plants look like a lot of others in the growers help sections. I quit using Fox Farms 2 years ago because their soil quality is horrible lol you can find fish hooks and other random sh*t in it.

All you've gotta do is use the search filter and look up "FFOF" or "FOx Farms" and most threads are showing people running it and sometimes their PH and everything else is dead on point and they still end up with really sick looking plants.

I'm not that well rehearsed in checking runoff because to be honest I've already figured out my plants that I'm growing right now, same genetics for about 2 years now so I know what they want and what they can handle for the most part.

To my understanding if you have a higher runoff ph than feed ph it means the plants need more food and if the runoff ph is lower than feed ph then the plants need less food. I was told this by a Heavy 16 consultant.

Gotcha this is only my second grow so im horrible at diagnosing problems another thing I've noticed is most of the stems even the main stalk is purple now. I will look into different soil for the next round but to finish this grow the best i can i should and grow big and ph my water to 6.5 for now?

I completely disagree. FFOF is great IF you like real soil and the bugs that may come with it. The inconsistancy of organics is everywhere. Ive never used ph up or down on the soil or the food. (that part IS debateable but the quality of FFOF is not) Been off an on with OF for well over 20 years. i have seen one bad bag out of hundreds. It was happy frog too.

Way too many people are too into reading the bags and directions for everything. The bag says it can grow up to 3 months with no food so for some reason people think thats solid info. Its not. some strains will need way more , an some will need a tad less.
I am 100% that your ph is fine. Your girl is starving. thats all. she dont want mag or cal or K , she wants FOOD. all of the above.

The soil is not the issue. The ph problem comes from adding nutrients too early, over watering etc. that happens in every soil

Why run a soil that isn't going to feed the plants? I've grown plants in M3 Mix in little pots with twice as big of plants as this picture and had no issues with food running out. I don't like bugs and I'll pass on bugs and diseases coming pre-charged in a bag.

I would love others opinions on this. Because I’ve been told not to even check runoff. But I do and have had this happen. The runoff ph was higher and I was sketchy about adding nutrients so I waited. It got higher and the plant got worse. Fed it and it dropped and the plant improved.

doesn’t make it a fact but I would love more info/opinions

That plant is in PH hell. Plants need nitrogen to grow regardless of stage of life... IDK when everyone thought Nitrogen was no longer a thing in Bloom who the hell started that?
It started back in the 80s when people would give their plants huge amounts of Nitrogen, and that can either retard bud development, or all but stop it all together. Most of the time the nonstop vegging was by using to much Ammonium Nitrate outside, and that stuff if used to late in the season, will keep them vegging, and/or super leafy. Its good stuff though if used properly.

All Nitrogen is to a Plant, is Protein. Doesnt make sense to limit, or stop Protein when one is trying to grow, and produce Biomass/Mass. Chemicals??? Protein is responsible for growth and repair, metabolism. Immune function. Cell Division/Mitosis. All kinds of stuff. Protein is Greek/Latin for Primary. Or Essential/First Importance
Pronounced PRO-teen or PRO-tee-un, it comes from Greek proteios, "primary," as these compounds are essential to all living organisms.

Its all about balance, and not giving to much, or to little of anything

Of course it feeds the plants. As with any organics , you cannot just say when its going to run out of food. Thats impossible. Ive personally never gotten bugs from soil. I can grow a tree in a solo cup , thats not relevant at all.

My bad I totally typed that out wrong. I edited my post. If your Runoff PH is higher than your Feed PH then it means the plants are hungry. If the Runoff PH is lower than the Feed PH then it is less hungry.

This would make sense because I grow in Coco and my starting water from my RO Barrel is 6.3 PH and once I add nutrients I'm down to 5.8 PH almost on the button. So if the plants are sucking up all that food or the medium is then you'll have a higher runoff PH as the water is going back to original state.

Good to know where it actually came from. That makes sense. I think thats why the bottled nute companies capitalized on VEG/BLOOM formulations where they only change the N value by 1% to get customers to buy double the bottles. lol
