Nitrogen toxicity

You were right. Lowering the feed was a bad idea. @medidedicated I have started to get a slight nutrient deficiency so I have raised the nutrients back up to prevent the deficiency from getting any worse. We are also experiencing a heatwave in the UK right now so I am struggling with the temps as well. I plan on getting a portable air conditioner when I have got more money together. But that won't be for a while yet. @Nutty sKunK I'm not sure what is causing the leaves around the buds to claw but it has got slightly worse. Even the leaves that aren't in direct air movement are starting to claw ever so slightly.

Hasn’t gotten drier has it with the warmth? That’ll lower humidity and cause them to drink more.

It might just be sensitive to N. If no intense air movement your light may be a bit strong for that phenotype. Each plant is unique unless it’s a clone..

It's got slightly drier but when it does get drier I just turn 1 of my dehumidifiers off for an hour or so to get the humidity to rise.

The coco is staying constantly wet but I have noticed it's taking more water to get run off in this heatwave we are having.

And yeah you are probably right. This pheno is probably more sensitive to nitrogen. I guess I'm just going to have to live with the clawing lol.

I've had to raise the amount of feed I am giving her due to the fact she has started to show signs of a deficiency so lowering the feed was a bad idea.

I'm not sure where to go from here lol.

Shoot I guess if you unwatch a thread you may not get notified if you get mentioned. My bad, I just kinda tuned out. You got any pics? What size pots are you using? How dry is it when you go to water it, is it visually dry to the touch or is there some water on finger when touching it?

Thats where runoff numbers could help but Im not too sure on this one. I was just saying if thats all thats wrong Id look other places first before changing ec. Maybe nothing because they looked ok. Some runs are just not the best but they can still turn pretty later in flower.

Kinda occupied right now but all I can think to say is I try to play with ec I start at what Im giving the others. If not happy depending where I started if 1.7ec I decrease like I did to 1.2ec and am fine. Also vise versa, I went from 1.1ec to 1.7. If low to high its pale and getting spots then starts to look like the pic, lush and healthy.

I recently learned what it looks like when its overfed and locked out to then healthy lush. Without going too pale and having to bump it back up a little. It looks like these thumbnails side by side. Its a little tricky I got lucky and even a little cocky but remembered it can still be hard solving problems. We just face different challenges.

So I wouldnt change a thing if it looks healhy lush like my example pic if it turns N toxic level looking darkness and maybe some claw. People tell me I over feed all the time but if I could keep it lush lime yellow I would. Maybe its a pheno thing and the darker pheno I work with is just like that but lowering ec was never an option for me with her.

Changing temps, rh, light intensity and adding more air flow can influence things for sure like one said. Just playing with that and dryback/feed accordingly gave me different results sometimes great undeniable results.

12.5L airpots. It stays constantly wet, i don't let it dry out. yeah it's moist to the touch. I think she will be ok. I will just have to monitor her i guess

3 gal is a big pot. I get the same results with half gal worth of coco with better perks. If you had to change your enviorment to get it to drink more it will show its rath lol. They guzzle lots of water 3 gallons. That could help with things, like when I had slower dryback but changed enviorment and get them to make better use of the high ec.

Also got budrot and PM since the atmostphere was right for it. Now that its not my plants are looking a lot better in that regard but wind burnt sometimes.

And I might not be percieving size of your plant idk what size area its taking up. But maybe not a half gallon but a gallon of coco would do basically the same thing but easier. My half gallon clones fill a 3x3’ pretty full. 2.5x2.5’ is pretty packed. It might even help dial things like this in. I know for sure having high root density is a good thing in dtw coco.
