Nitro, I have question for you. What kind of water are you using? I use Tap water, and where I live the water is hard, so my tap has PPM levels between 200-300 before I even add Nutes. I am just trying to get a handle on your PPM numbers and whether or not you are using RO water which tends to have PPM ranges between 0-10. In other words, I am trying to figure out if your PPM numbers are all nutrients that you are adding, or if there are additional mineral deposits in the water before you even add nutrients.
I have been tracking the PPM levels in my grow and factoring the pre-nute PPM level in my bucket. I have no idea if I am correct in this thought process. For example, I have a bucket where the water was 240 PPM before I added nutes. When I added my nutes, the PPM on my meter shows 840. I have been treating it as if my PPM is 600 (840-240).

Hey big littlejohn......
I use tap water, but I live in a area that has really good water....My tap water is 074 ppm with a PH of 7.2......When I give my ppm report it includes my tap water......
Right know my plants are useing over 7 gallons a day, which is riseing my ppm in my buckets...They seem to drink a lot, but they can only take in so much nutrient......So this time I filled my buckets with just fresh PH'd water.... and as they drink the water my fresh barrel of nutes will keep the buckets topped off..........My ppm in my buckets was quite high this week.....It was over 2000......It's just from drinking so much..........I hope I just made sense........I feel a little bit ripped............nitro..

I woke up this morning and the power was off.....It blew about 70mph last night.....I got my generator going and things are going again............power might of been off for about three hours before I woke up........Anyway here are my week 5 pic's............I can't get my pic's on here for some reason....I will try later..........nitro...

Hey Nitro,sorry about the power hope all is well....very nice grow u have here and even better journal with so much info..thanks...a question about those shrooms u posted pics of a while back...did u get a buzz off them like shrooms give..and did u plant them or did they just grow?....reason i ask is because we had some grow in our yard that were like 10 to 12 inches tall and looked kind of like those...thanks again for all the great info!!

Some of those mushrooms will kill you..... the red one's with the white spots are deadly........None of them will get you high.....down the street further from my house there is some mushrooms that will get you high....I think they are called "oregon blue's"......I don't eat those, but I know people that do....
The pic's of the King beleatus I posted get 10/12 inches tall and across the top........I have eaten those but only the small one's....The big one's are kind of full of bug's.....
The mushrooms grow natural here.......I tried transplanting some of them into my yard but it has failed to work out.......nitro....

We have had gusts of wind as high as 98mph.......roofs are being torn off of buiness's in town.......My power came back on for now......And I have my generator on stand by.........nitro....

Hey drgreentm.........Well we made it through the storm......my driveway and front yard is wiped out.......broken tree limbs everywhere.....I live right on the edge of the ocean, it was like a war zone....anyway everything is OK at my house.....just a lot of clean up...........My generator came in real handy......the plants seem all right...they were with out bubbles while I was sleeping for almost three hours.............I have my week 5 pic's but can't seem to get them on here for some reason..............nitro...dam nitro!! you got a tornado rolling through or something? hope all goes well, its nice to have a generator thats for sure

I love the fact you use GH tri-series with few additives. I use GH tri-series as well, with no additives, and love it. Sometimes towards the end of flower I throw a few more portions of Bloom in there, but for the most part the chart provided is perfect. A lot of people hate on the GH nutes, idk why...
Are you using 4 600's? or 4 1000's? Thats a lot of friggin bush in that tent man, so to reiterate what so many have already said, good job, they look super happy.
*I also veg 24/0, aside from slightly faster growth rates, it tends to promote bushier growth, and more main colas(even without topping), at least in my experience. 18/6 seems to draw the plant into stretching a little more during veg.

Hey green hornet.....I use 4 1000w hps...........I don't use a lot of additives for sure......Pretty much just the 3 part for the first 4/5 weeks......and then a week or two before 12/12 I start adding some floralicius bloom......the last 4 weeks of bloom I start adding pineapple sweetener......the last three weeks I add my dry kool bloom...........Everyother barrell of nutes I add two teaspoons of benny's......and thats pretty much it.......I have tried other additives like floricius plus....and I might try some of it again some day......I have tried diamond nector......but I think the plants are getting all they need and some... just with what I have been using .....For a grow like this one I use......less than 300.00........in nute's...............nitro....

i change my mind. you make 70-80 zips no problem. i go for 35 if lucky.
i swore id stick with the 600's.. but the amount of light those things put out looks cray cray

Hey Sleezydee.....I trim shade leaves almost everytime I go in the tent.......but just with this strain.......This strain is just extra bushy.......I thought about trimming the bottom half of the plants, but I just haven't done it......The buds don't get real big with this strain...but they are tasty and frosty........I am not sure if the buds would get bigger if I lollipoped with this strain.......I would end up with less popcorn...Then my brother and a cupple others would be bummed.........There could be some truth that trimming or lollipopping will help the buds get bigger......I guess I am counting on my 4 1000w lights to make my buds be all they can be without lollipopping............I have two weeks to go maybe tonight I will do a bunch of trimming on one plant and see what happens..........I hope I can post pic's again here soon.......................nitro...

I would recommend that Nitro... just one plant to see. I bet you will be very surprised as they will not decrease in quality or size for sure, but they will get bit bigger and riper then the others. At least that is what I experienced too, as I did one then I never looked back. Your brothers and friends would kiss you too as their "popcorn" will be a bit bigger and tastier as well... win win.

oh yea.. i am also at wk 5 flower, my plants are nowhere near as big - if i was running some 1000's theres no telling what would be going on though.. my nugs look a little more developed, but again my harvest wont be anywhere close to yours
