NL#5 WW & Big Bud closet scrog

This is my 2nd grow & i really regret not documenting my 1st one so here it is. I did my last grow using a 2.5x4 space of my closet with 2 300 (170 actual) watt galaxyhydro blurple leds & a few 38w full spectrum cobs. For this grow ive decided to use the other half of my closet to run a scrog bc im really interested in that technique. So i added a 400 watt cooltube mh/hps. I ran my 4" carbon filter ventilation through it to keep the heat down and it does. Im using local good promix soil and ive just started using the ph perfect micro grow bloom from advanced nutrients with ff open sesame,cha ching, beastie bloomz. So many new things this run im excited about. One of my many obstacles with this was figuring out a way to water without moving my plants. So i found an electronic kerosene pump at lowes for 15$ and some 3$ drain trays and problem solved. These plants were clones from seeds bought from nirvana except big bud she was planted from seed. I think there around 4 weeks in veg i dont really keep up with it. I set the screen about 11" above the 3 g smart pots and there just now starting to reach it. The other half i still have 2 little clones from my 1st run finishing up i need them to hurry. Im gonna stick the big bud on that side and let her grow since shes manifolded anyways and scrog the ww and NL. Temps stay 77-72 humidity 50-60%. Plenty of air circulation and a pretty nice environment if i say so myself. I think ive covered everything if you see something ive done wrong pls lmk this im new to this and im always grateful for good advice.

I am interested in watching you learn to scrog, as I will be next in a few months. Genius use of a shower rod!

I'd flip em and then start lollipopping them. I'm subbed for the ride. Good luck!

Lol ty i kept thinking that the shower rods wasn't going work as easy as it did in my head but it turned out to be a cheap solution. Im curious to see how i yield with a scrog. My 1st plant i just lst and topped and got over 4 ozs dry with cheap blurple lights

When to flip has been my biggest fear tbh. These plants do not stretch much at all and i really dont know when to flip but from my research i figured id let the screen fill up about 80% then keep them colas tucked through the 1st week of stretch and let them go after that.

Okay so its been a little over 3 weeks since my last post and i flipped my lights about 5 days ago. Im not gonna go into great detail bc now is when it gets fun but if anyone has any questions or sees something im doing wrong pls lmk. This is my 1st time scrogging. Im still using advanced nutrients micro grow bloom for my base and now im using ff open sesame. Ill just post some pics of the last few weeks and ill start keeping a more detailed journal now that im flowering. Im really excited about the big bud that i mainlined too its looking nice..

Ok so i know they'r not gonna strecth a whole hell of a lot so i think im done tucking & im just gonna let them ride & see what happens fuck it. Its day 6 since flip.

Yes sorry.. I was gonna do an update today. Its been 21 days since flip so i count that as week 2 of flower. I stopped tucking after 2 weeks and they seem to be doing good. Im a little worried i tucked the ww to long tho bc it aint stretching like i hoped the last week. Anyways here they are today the NL is on the left side then the WW in the middle then the BB on the right side thats not under a net. Its doing great btw. Ive just been sticking to 15ML of micro grow bloom each and open sesame. About to switch to beastie blooms. Im really happy with this grow so far im hoping for some fat colas. The first close up is the ww the last close up is the bb

Much appreciated. I gave BB a try back in the late 80's when seedbank first offered it up, my bag seed had bigger buds. BB looks very impressive these days.

Yea i heard it was very popular in the 70s and 80s.

Okay so its been a week. Thanksgiving Day i woke up to a blown ballast so i had to contact vivosun and i will say this about that company they responded right away all i had to so was email a pic of the serial # and i had a new ballast Monday in the mail. Ive bought all my shit from them and will continue to. Okay back to the closet grow i feel like there done stretching if anythig maybe another inch or 2 but its been 4 weeks since flip. Everything is really going good i got my room dialed in and it makes life so much easier. At this point on the NL most colas are about 5" and on the WW about 4". Any questions just ask.. I pulled the BB out a lil for some pics its really doing well and im very pleased with the canopy shape.

Its been 11 days since my last update. I took some pics yesterday. Its been 39 days since flip. I count the 1st week so im at 4 1/2 weeks of flower. Everythings going good im a little worried about my NL they're just not getting as fat as i thought. I ended up with about 6" colas and my ww about 5". The ww does not stretch that much. I learned a lot this run.

Yea thanks the other 2 were clones the BB popped from a bagseed i got from a grower friend so luckily i knew the strain. Training the canopy to stay even was a struggle lol. Ill be happy with 3 oz
