Homie, A plant doesn't just keel over and die. Especially if it's been pushed far to flower. I was just saying I don't think it would need to be watered for it to hermie and pop a few seeds to continue it's lineage. idk why that's very contradictory

So if there is no water present, a plant dies. Let’s say it did pop some nanners in that first week it had no water due to stress it will be completely dead the following week due to no water. Please just stop.

I’m going to do it with my current plant. It depends on the media it is in. If pure coco and 1gallon it will Ben wilting by the end of the day. If it’s in a 15gallon soil then it could take a week to show. I would want a slower death. Maybe over a week. I’m not afraid of seeds or nanner, nothing will happen in a week that will cause problems.
I want to experiment with freezing also. They say I read people say if it freezes ‘it’s RUINED’ but. I bet it would be smooth smoking. All the cells rupture and all the enzymes and stuff spill out. It turns brown. Smooth

Well this got a little bit off topic (I'm not worried about pollen if a plant is already finished, dead and dying... the pistils are probably looong past fertility) but thanks for most of the replies so far.
I'm still finding my way; I like trying things I haven't tried before. I'm glad to hear from others experience that this can indeed work. So thanks!

that's good to hear. how big was it, and about how long did it take to dry&die from the last time you watered it?
