no clone gel on veggies?

got some earth juice clone gel today and noticed that it says use for non-food crops only. is it safe for marijuana? and why is it not for food crops? it says it is natural cutting gel

They all pretty much say that, my Clonex does also.

I've been using it for over 20 years on mj AND veggies, especially pepper plants.

By the time the plants or fruit is ready to consume, that small amount used for cloning is long gone.

Liability reasons? Everyone wants to cover their ass these days. It's probably to prevent stupid people from thinking.. ""Oh, well if it's good for my plant and is all natural I might as well use it to dunk these here chips in.."" People these days. Just like McDonalds coffee cups need to say ""Careful, may contain hot liquid""
