Yea they tend to lose their smell until you cure them. Do you know what strain it is? If it's 12 weeks, and you say trich's are cloudy it's time for harvest. Maybe try a paper bag instead of a cardboard box to dry them? The smell will return when you cure them. Just make sure they're not to dry, or to wet. Last year I was curing mine, and they were to wet. The mold under microscopes isn't yummy looking at all. lol

This is how you should harvest. If your trichs are milky, it's time.

1. Cut the entire plant at the stalk and hang upside down, whole. Space them well so they dry out evenly.
2. Dry for 5-7 days, until your stems make a "snapping" sound when you bend them.
3. Trim everything dry.
4. Make sure your room temp is around 70 degree and 50% humidity, and everything is completely dark.

This method will create the best smelling product.

I (try to) wait to harvest, till there is apx 5 to 10% amber trichs, gives a nice clean buzz. But I always wait till there's some amber.
20 or 30% amber (or even more) will produce more of a bodystone/couchlock.

If the plant looks done, chop it. Fuck checking trichomes :) Some strains will naturally be more airy than others, sativas more so than indicas.
