and i just searched that link for the afghani that you said you just smoked, and guess what it said?? that's right, good for anxiety... here's the copy and paste for that strain...
Strain Name: Afghan Kush
Grade: B
Type: Indica
Looks: Tons of dull orange hairs gives it a orangish brownish tint. Soft green color that is overpowered by the thick hairs.
Smell: It smells like a mango orange farm with a hint of funk to it that is comparable to an old musty basement. Does not have the trademark kush smell, but it does have it’s own unique reak.
Taste: Tastes a lot like the smell. Funky Mango with a hint of a wet earth and musty basement taste. Leaves an aftertaste of skunk. Wish it had more of a mango taste, but still tastes pretty good none the less.
Effects: Night time use. Provides an energetic burst of energy right off the bat. After a few minutes it provides a very relaxed focus feeling. Kept me right on the edge of energetic and couch locked. Great for anxiety and relaxing.
Potency: Medium

My ex smoked with me for years....I mean roll'n blunts all day.

Then one day she flipped out and couldnt breathe, had major panic attack, and since then she hasnt been able to smoke. Of course she went to a doc, and they gave her a zanex script.....2 months later she was hooked on zanex. DOH!

I indeed too have Terrible anxiety But once i have smoked i feel great, I don't know? Different strokes for different folk's :D

I've had that type of unpleasant high before, it's very strain and tolerance related. At least for me it was. Once my tolerance was very high then nothing bothered me, but if I let it drop then I was sensitive to certain strains.

I found that c99 is great if you have anxiety from others, but if you aren't enjoying it just don't do it any more, simple as that.

I'd rather suffer a bit and build my tolerance with a bad strain then go that big pharma or psychiatry route. I know there are people that have no choice and need help but I'd bet you most people probably don't need or benefit from either one. Change your life to make you happier and more stress free. If you just had an unpleasant break up with a phychopath and got out unscathed and learned someting from it, that's something good. Now you're free and wiser and maybe even a bit stronger than before.
See the positive...
There's a documentary called "The Secret, the power of attraction." Give it a shot because you will learn it directly relates to a bad high and it really can make a huge difference in your life just having a positive attitude. You don't need anything outside you to give you a positive outlook, it just comes from you and you can manipulate how anything makes you feel just knowing that you can. Having that knowledge and being able to make yourself think differently and respond differently to stress etc even if your life seems shitty, will really turn things around.

Hello all. I've been smoking for years now, but recently started having terrible anxiety issues upon any amount or high I get. I don't exactly panic, but I definitely feel that something is deeply wrong. Is there any way that I can start enjoying my smoke again, or will I continue to have these issues throughout the rest of my life.
It should be noted that these problems are only apparent upon being high.
Don't be a quitter. Just get some god dank, 2mgs Xanax, a bottle of, well anything at this point and you won't even know how to say anxiety
Todd McCormick HOW TO GROW MEDICAL MARIJWANA
page 243

Medical marijuana affects your mental
process in largely positive ways. But be
warned: if you begin fixating on your problems
while high, worrying about the bills
or little Johnny’s grades, you could have
what the hippies call a bummer or bad trip.
The key is not to let the drug control you.
You are always in charge. You have the ability
to change the subject of your inner dialogue
and think of something fun.

i read this and it reminded me of the first time i ever smoked good mj, i had just started about 3 months in (all regies) the on a drive to ny with my friends bro he had some grand dady, at the time grand dady purp ment nothing to me i din't even know sat/ indica. when i went to toke i hit it like an idiot and bam!!! 6 hours of DUHHHH!, later on he told me i was in and out (sleeping ) all the way there i was so high i kept having to repeat to my self my name in fear of forgetting lolz
why would you be feeling melancholy about breaking up with someone whom in your own words is was it a sociopath?? i'd rather be feeling rather happy about getting her/ him out of my life and getting a chance to find someone whom you can really connect with and who isn't nutso..

Cause, I've witnessed first hand how well they can mimic what comes natural to me without actually feeling shit.
It's just destroyed my trust is all, 10 years with a sociopath and 2 kids. What can you expect?

This happens to me quite often I have horrible panic attacks and extreme anxiety, it is amplified at times by mj although I would never change any part of my life over a silly little thing like anxiety, have you ever heard the phrase its all in your head, I have simple exercises and teqhniqes that help to calm me, boobies seem to have an overwhelming calming affect..

I would say it could be cardiovascular related as well. An unwanted drop in blood pressure can.trigger quite a few things.

This is the naive assumption people make about MJ, I.E it causing a mental disorder, no wonder it's still illegal. You must believe in Reefer Madness.
no. it was a peer reviewed study performed over a period of 14 years with a very large sample set.

this is the ONLY modern marijuana study that scientifically connects marijuana and mental disorders.

it is not something made up.

i will not do the research for you but i'll give you a hint, the link is in some thread in the toke n talk section of rollitup.org.

do some research before you run your mouth. rookie.

When I was younger I was always looking for weed. It was a social thing, you and your friends would get all your money together and hit up all your connects and eventually get a bag and everyone would kick it and smoke. Now, I don't really have a lot of friends, truth be told I am really a loner these days. The combination of everyone growing up and working, having a grow that I don't like to talk to anybody aout because of legalities and rippers, not having to search for weed, and even having a job as driver where I had very little contact with anybody else has really changed my experience with weed. Much like shrooms, any issues you might have can really be amplified by the herb and I have recently had some mixed feelings about everything when I am high. I can get really freaked out when I'm out of my element, and even though ceertain strains help, the weed isn't the cause of my problems and I know this. Maybe your like me, your new situation is strange to you and you should try to experiment in more social situatons if you can and be safe. Maybe don't smoke at home as much and try to save it for when you can go out and just enjoy yourself with some friends or something. Go fishing or hiking or something, and slowly once the hard feelings of your breakup are out of your mind you can relax more. I'm currently working on this myself, easier said than done I know.
