No reason for stretch!! Any ideas?

Hallo guys,

I have at the moment 30 seedlings under 400w MH

The seedlings keep stretching while I have them right under the lamp!!

I grow Bubblegum, lemon haze and enemy of the state at the moment

I always leave alittle place empty in the top of the pot just in case the plants have stretched allittle I can burry thr stems

But this time I burry the stems but they keep stretching

Any idea?

Ya man, just dont worry about it. Ive done sprouts under mh,hps,floro curlytails, floro t5s, t8s, and t12s. Some like to go straight up and some like to stop. Some say lack of light and thats true in some cases,but you have 400 watts right there so i doubt thats it. Just let them grow into their spindly little bodies and hope they dont fall over. In my experience the tall ones keep growing tall in veg and into flower. Just keep the fan off of them for a while.

Are they all new genetics?

Just let them grow. If they become to tall you can always plant them deeper.

Hay Alien,

Ya they are all new genetics and mixed, playen Big this time and tryen to make a mothers room with some good genetics.

I have at the moment
The majority are :
Bubblegummer female seeds
Enemy of the state Super strains
Bubblegum Royal queen seeds
Bubble Bomb Bomb seeds
Lemon haze Royal queen seeds
Blue dream Humboldt seeds

And few of Ak47', white russian and ww

Planing on haven 15 more seeds today

Lemon haze, bubble gum and scout girl cockies just waiting for root riot plugs to be delieverd any time now

Lemon haze pack cames in with 6 seeds in instead of 5

Nice list. I did a clone blue dream a long time ago, not hso blue dream, and it was such a spaghetti plant. It fell all over. I hated running it because i was always picking it up off the damn ground im sure yours will be better. I also just had a female seeds ogk herm on me so watch those female seeds genetics especially at around week four of flower. But for now just be really carefull watering so ya don't accidentally flatten one with the watering tool. I use a 60 ml syringe because it's accurate.

Haha thats very funny

The thing is with bubblegum that it has like 2 phenos

One get stretchy and not too branchy and this is NOT good as I have it before and got rid of it mid flower, it strtches too much and have only 2/3 main colas

The second phino which am searching for is compact with small spaces between nodes and not much side leafs which prouduce huge dense compact A++ buds.

Thats why I am tryen to select the best 2 or 3 from all the bubble gum I have from all the bubble gum genetics I have

Bubblebomb is basically bubblegum X Thc bomb
Bubblegum Xl RQS is a pheno and Bubblegumer is another one

I believe that most of the stretch is going from the feemale seeds so am afried that its the stretchy pheno.

Just in case I have the Bubblebomb and Bubble XL genetics if ill discard the female seeds later on.

Regarding the blue dream I have heard it prouduces great yield and it have very sturdy structure and bien avery good genetics overall so I though ill give it a try.

The thing with clones is that I have heard that it get weaker by generations..

Thats why I have started from seeds in hope to be cloning dierctly from the mother.

0.8 ec
Ph 5.8

Next watering will be tomorrow at 1 ec

Should I start 20/4 today or wait alittle bit more?

Alien I would like also to know please what was the best light you have used for veg?

Am asking bcz I wanna know basically what was the best Kelvin Light ((K))to veg under
I have now 2 kimd of MH lamps both are 400w

Philips MH whic is 4500K
And
Sunmaster MH which is 4200K

Cfl, TCL are 6500 k veg

So whats the best?!

As far as fast explosive growth i like 1k mh. Think i was using sunmasters, ive only used phillips 600 hps. For mothers id use the t5s because you can turn them down to half power, save bulbs and power if you can. Plus you save heat. Id run 1ks right now for veg if i wouldnt need a big a/c to cool my veg room if i did. I usually move my veg to the flower room for two weeks under the 1ks and the co2 and they blow the fuck up. They grow so fast you can hear the stems twisting as they hunt down the ceiling. I had bugs and hvac problems this run and had to wait to flower for two extra weeks....og kush hit....uhhh, maybe 8 feet. check my cali connection grape kush thread. They got way too big with a month under the HID lighting.

Yes they're from Humboldt.
Honestly I'm not disappointed, overall still has a stinky haze/blue smell, very vigorous, outgrew my others. Plus they've only been flowering for about 20 days.

Guys I think I know what was the reason!!!

I think this ballast is damaged!!

The lamps was emitting more red coulor.

I just put the sunmaster MH on the same ballast and it gived strange coulour

So Now I have another complete ballast.

Look the colour difference
