Theyre ready and already down and drying! Was growing in coco n perlite mix.. more than likely be stress then! Anything that can be done?
Oh yah I looked at your post were you pulled them. They don’t look like they were ready to me. If they were in my rooms I would have left them longer. Anyways they did get bud rot so that’s one thing but what’s done is done they’ll most likely come out smelling like straight barn hay.

Mix it with the stuff that has smell ,the smell will come over curing.but not if there ain't all ready a strong smell there. In the uk this would be a major problem if you was selling it ,people will not buy bud that does not have a strong smell,But they have been spoilt with livers exodus ,and now Amnesia that all stink .They buy with there nose I do,I have had some bud that looked great but had little smell ,that I did not get because I go with my nose ,if it smells strong normally carries over in taste. But if it's for you does not matter ,it won't effect the buzz, might be tasty

They had just over 9weeks of flowering about 70% in brown hairs and nice milky trichomes.. and only one bud on a plant got bud rot i cut it off the plant and left them for another week the rest of the plant was fine and smelt lovely, most of the planta have a nice sweet smell.. some are covered in crystal! Just 3-4 plants havent got much/pleasant smell coming from them

Depending on the lights used and where you were checking the trichromes all factor in. If you were checking the sugar leaves they’ll be mature faster than the buds. The bud I’d t look like it was done swelling at all yet. Plus just because the plants smell nice while growing doesn’t mean they’ll keep that smell once chopped if they’re pulled early.

70% brown pistils means 30% white pistils means not done.

Just because they were flowering for 9 weeks doesn't mean they were done. The description of the strain can say anything regarding flowering time but that doesn't make it true for each individual grow. I saw the picture in the other thread as well and it didn't look ready to me.

Just out of curiosity bud what do you look at in a photot to determine wether they are done swelling or not? And your not the first person to say that now... looking at the photo of that specific bud now i can see it too but it was exaclty a week after that i cut the rest of the plant down and there was quite a difference in density, trich’s, and hairs.. maybe they could have done with a little longer but i have unofrtunately had to push forward with the harvest after 9week. This is my first one in years and like i say still learning. Thanks for all the input guys. Will improve on tge next one, some serious strains coming up next

It’s simple experience man honestly. Hairs, overall look of the plant I could still the the top of The one cola wasn’t as rounded out to the degree I’ve seen in most plants I’ve grown. Either way live and learn.

Yeah i get you, and yeah the rest of them are rounded off a little more than that one..mind most of my buds are, and yeah when i took it to looking at it now and comparing it to my other buds (even on the same plant) i can see how different thet are and the change just after one week was very noticeable

It is normal for buds to lose smell while drying, once you jar them and start the cure process the smell will return. Just be sure and properly cure it.

You have to keep looking for a stinky keeper strain. 75% of all weed is just average. The last 8-10 strains of seeds that I bought were not as good as what I already have so they weren't kept. I'm spending too much on over-hyped seeds that don't deliver. You just have to keep trying (and buying seeds) until you get a keeper. That is assuming you aren't making rookie mistakes and really screwing up. Good stinky strains are kinda hard to screw up but probably not impossible to screw up.
