I had a batch this year that didn't have a strong smell. I fixed it, but it was completely on accident. I was trimming my plants outside and smoking when I left a large glass jar filled with weed outside right before it got dark. When I woke up the next day I remembered I left it out, ran to go find it, and when I did it had sweated and warmed up a bit. There was condensation all over the inside of the glass and when I opened the jar the smell was pretty intense. I emptied everything out and let it air dry for a few minutes because it got pretty moist. However, now it smells great.
Normally heat and sunlight are the worst things for your curing bud and you want to avoid them at all cost, but in my case it actually fixed the problem. No doubt it's risky and if I had left my weed out to long I'm sure it would have gotten moldy, rotted, or even get bleached by the sun and turn yellow. Anyway, if nothing else works, maybe what happened to me and give you some fresh ideas.
best of luck,
- Vin
