This is my first grow ever. Now I'm curing my early harvested plants which was nut burned. Now they are in the jar for about a week but ther is no smell at all. I don't smell anything.. Is this normal? Maybe after some time it will be better?

It took almost 3 weeks for my last crop to smell like some decent weed.
If You dried them properly the smell will come back.

pics of bud? You probably pulled her a bit to early. Or it is a possibility you started curing to early, or dried to fast.

The best way to dry is slow and even all the way to the cure which is when the product is dry with the stem cracking. Not overly dry where it crumbles but feeling very dry on the outside but a little squishy and when you bend the stem it bends slightly and then cracks now your ready to cure. For me the only way is my prefect harvest thread.

I had a batch this year that didn't have a strong smell. I fixed it, but it was completely on accident. I was trimming my plants outside and smoking when I left a large glass jar filled with weed outside right before it got dark. When I woke up the next day I remembered I left it out, ran to go find it, and when I did it had sweated and warmed up a bit. There was condensation all over the inside of the glass and when I opened the jar the smell was pretty intense. I emptied everything out and let it air dry for a few minutes because it got pretty moist. However, now it smells great.

Normally heat and sunlight are the worst things for your curing bud and you want to avoid them at all cost, but in my case it actually fixed the problem. No doubt it's risky and if I had left my weed out to long I'm sure it would have gotten moldy, rotted, or even get bleached by the sun and turn yellow. Anyway, if nothing else works, maybe what happened to me and give you some fresh ideas.

best of luck,

- Vin

He stated he harvested early. Most terpenes and other oils are not produced until late in flower and on the plants end of life cycle, so it probably won't have much of any smell no matter how long he cures.
