No Stretch In 12 and 12-on Sixth Day

been on 12 and 12 for 6th day now and stretch has not occured. plants look great but are not drinking...pistils are forming around nodes. had a prob with lime green new growth but that is going away but a few leaves are canoeing on some plants not that bad. had some small light cracks at the beginning but they were all fixed by day 3
3- sour diesel
3- mendo purps

1. 12'x8'x8' out building
2. daytime temps from 70-80
3. night temps hold @ 67-70
4. 600 watt hps with air cooled metal halid about 10 inches from top of tallest plant (22inches and shortest is 18 inches)
5. 6 inch intake and 12 inch outtake
6. 1 circulation fan and 1 oscolating fan
7. co2 15 min every 3 hrs during lights on
8. plants look great
9. using floral micro and floral bloom 1/2 dose...1 teaspoon per 1 gallon water
10. ph is between 6.5 and 7. p test adequate, n test surplus, and k test surplus
11. were in veg for 4 weeks
12. happy frog soil

any ideas? thank you​
 
Just going by personal experience, but my last ones didn't even start the stretch until about 2 weeks of 12/12. They really took off after about 17 days.
 
ya...if they dont stretch, then please let me know what strain because i hate that part of a plant growth period...everytime i lower my lights thinkin they wont stretch as bad this time...lol but seriously keep meh posted. aint nothin better lookin that MJ with tight nodes, and all bud! i agree with los though, give it a few more days

I agree with the above, that it's a little early yet, and nothing to worry about. Figure on their heigth doubling, and if they're more sativa-dominant, possibly tripling. So, if you're running outta of room, you better look into LST, or some kind of training, to keep their heigth under control.
 
its still in the normal limits , the presence of two strains raises some suspicius but u still got some days before start wondering , u sure no light leaks ?
 
I've grown purple kush from bcseedking twice. This is my second time. Last time they were 2 feet average going into flowering and finished 2.5 feet max.

I'm currently on day 28 of flowering and they havene't stretched more then 3-5 inches each...I had to veg super super long because of this, they are also a fairly slow vegging plant.
 
no light leaks anymore...is it ok to go in and check with lights off really quicvk to check temp and light leaks? 2 atraind idk y...
 
sorry to bust into your thread with a question, but i have to ask...DANK BUDZ: so are you saying you had to veg. for a while to not stretch as much? or just cuz of the strain?
 
keep an eye on that leaf condition you mentioned earlier.... That's your plant telling you something up.
 
ronno: i am growing in my bedroom, and at night i put cardboard boxes up in my closet, and a sheet overtop to keep light out, and i walk into the room 4 or 5 times a night...never had problems. i believe it is prolonged exposure to a light source during their normal night cycle that messes them up.
 
i vegged to try and get the plants to the highth i wanted to go into flower. i was hoping to at least double in size during flower and some pretty large plants. idk if this is correct or not...first grow
 
well i found in the stretching phase if you lower your lights this alone will help for it not to stretch as much
