No trichomes week 3 of flower...wtf?

I have done this before, but this is the first time in which I reach this stage...yet still no trichomes? They are a mixture of Tang Dreams + LSD (Barnys)...but neither have any sugar on them...its getting worrying.

Its been close to perfect through the day, maybe at night the temp will drop 20 degree's instead of 10 down to 60 and there is somethings a small jump in humidity between 40-60. But that certainly wouldnt do this (unless its strain related?)...as I get plants going frosty in veg!

Anybody else had this and they frost up later on in flower?

Advice and suggestions welcome, would hate to think I would waste more time of these if need be.

oh yea, I wouldn't be worried right now. Third week of flower, the buds are still trying to form, probably nothing much more than white hairs if I am correct. you probably wont start seeing some nice trichrome production until around the fifth to sixth week of flowering, all strains vary though.

I am at 3 weeks of bloom right now also and I just have white hairs.......relax I am shure the trich's will come....I know mine will frost up in a cupple weeks....

sounds like you are right on track...

Certainly not strain related. I grow Barney's farm LSD and they get good and frosty. But it may be a little bit more time too see them with the naked eye. Do you have a scope? If yes, and you are seeing no triche's at all, give her moe time, she will come around. Good Luck!

Thanks folks, Im glad you guys were about to put my mind at ease (you know what stoners are like haha)...was reading it could be lack of light (9 plants/400w mh for veg dual spec for flower) or too much N during the start of flower. I have never had a problem before, so Im hoping these guys just take longer. I really fucking hope. Good to hear your also at the same stage Nitro and have a similar lack of trichs...lets hope that changes over the next few weeks!

@ bkbuddz; do you remember when you noticed it getting frosty in there? Or to you keep journals?

Haha....people worry too much. 3 weeks of flower and you are concerned that you don't see any trichomes? Are you afraid that you are growing rudaralis? There's hardly a problem in the world you could create with healthy looking plants that would stop trichome production. That MJ plant wants trichomes to protect itself from harmful UVB rays (hint hint).

Yeah, if you read my other posts you would see I use MH for veg and dual spectrum for flower (for that reason)...dont bother with a UVB bulbs anymore...was too much going on in my space. Maybe some other day.

This was the setup I used before, fantastic results. I mean I could always the trichs start of flower, hence the post because this time its week 3 flowering and nothing yet (I do have wee tiny buds...almost joining...but not quite).

When I say no trichs, I mean NO trichs at all...anywhere. Fucking weird thats all.

Cheers man, got pistles (?) but seriously no tri's at all...anywhere. You know what its like, you starting worring will this be a waste of x months. Thanks for suggestion tho

Don't worry. @ 3 weeks you they could still just be stretching. Every strain is different. Sometimes plants that some weaksauce just end up being slow and ultimately delivery on yield and potency.

i have a barneys lsd in a waterfarm tht i put into flower on the first of the months and my buds r prolly right around golf ball size and they r covered in trichs half way out on the fan leaves even, but they r pheno differences u may have a more sativa pheno

These buds are 2 weeks into flower and to my naked eye they don't look this good. All I can see is white hairs and dark green leaves. So the tric are there I just can't see them yet.
