nodes getting closer

i hav one plant were it looks like the nodes are stacking up and getting very close togather like at the bottom of the plant there are about 4 to 6 inches apart and at the top they are about 1/2 inch does this mean its starting to bud i do not hav any way of taking pic but will soon

That's a good thing.. and no it doesn't necessarily mean it's budding.
