ok so its that time of year...digging beds...converting our 6 big beds (5x24) into 18 individual planter boxes(4x4) to allow better root growth and discourage plants from growing into each other...finishing up mods to the little greenhouse (mother room)...at the same time rigging up an electrical system to run supplemental lighting to keep the full season ladies out of flower...were getting an early start on the season to allow us to have the crop in the ground april 15...hence the necessary supplemental lighting...popped seeds for the cover crops and the vegetable garden...transplanted the orchard into 5 gal pots...got cuts rooting...and im stoked on this years roster:

sour diesel
og kush (2 differant cuts)
cheesequake (exodus cheese x querkle)
uk cheese
blackberry kush ( [blackberry x white rhino] x bubba)
maui
sour tsunami (high cbd) (double diesel x ferrari) x sour diesel
blue dream (dj short blueberry f5 x santa cruz haze)
bubba o x romulan ak
american crippler (jolly rancher x og)
purps
grand daddy purple
ogre (master x bubba)
cherry ak47 (1 in 100 ak47 pheno)
sour cream (sour diesel x g13 haze)
true kind (unknown humboldt genetics...kush lineage)

we sprung the sour cream and true kind beans 2/15...the rest are cuts taken the same day...were still waiting on the arrival of 2 sensi star beans and a bubba kush cut...also the supersoil ingredients should be here any day...got a great deal on solar panals so in our downtime were piecing together the rest of the solar system...i should have pictures up in a day or two when the internet decides to cooperate...ahhh livin off the grid...sooooo...untill next time...remember this time

we ran into a potential issue...the beds we built seem like they may be too short...about a foot above the path level...so we decided to add another row of 2x4s on
each bed to accommodate the nutrients and the prevent spilling when we double dig...

View attachment 2563108
the crop looks great so far...
View attachment 2563109
no signs of deficiencies or any other issues...all our clones rooted (except the american crippler...grrr) all our
popped beans are doing great...we did experience somewhat of a genetic anomaly...one of our
sensi star beans popped two...TWO!!!! plants...

sense2.1.jpgsense2.2.jpg
has anyone heard of this happening before...none of us had and we were wondering if there was any cause for concern...
did some more work on the wiring and electrical system...
elec.jpg
got the tin shed assembled...
tin shed.jpg
lots to do...Grateful for the nice weather...makes it easier to get shit done

due to the time frame we intend on keeping we will need to add a compost buffer on top of the beds as the soil will still be too hot by april 15 when we
transplant...the ladies are getting big
View attachment 2574245 View attachment 2574246
...about 18 inches already...we couldnt procure the bubba as we had hoped...oh well theres always next season...the cover crops are flourishing...
View attachment 2574242

we moved them outside today to make room in the middle section of the greenhouse for planter building...its still cold out here at night so an agrabond cover will be necessary for a few weeks...
had to build a woodshed this week...

this week we got the last of the beds dug built amended and covered...finished revamping the pathways...woo...

lasthole.jpgrocks.jpgpath.jpggreenhouse.jpg
built a new cloner...the one we had required too much power...its a flood and drain system instead of an
aeroponic system...it enables us to root our clones without the generator running...were soaking rockwool cubes
and pearlite in ph adjusted water in preparation for cutting the light dep crop tomorrow...

cloner1.jpg
started assembling the barrel stoves...
stove.jpg
laid about 150 ft of pipe from the well head toward the greenhouse...ran out of pipe
about 50 ft from where we plan on running it inside...
pipe.jpg
got a bunch of work done in the veggie garden...beds
dug and some planting done...
garden1.jpggarden3.jpggarden2.jpg
the full season crop is huge...the biggest (OG Kush, American Crippler, Sour
Diesel ect) are about 3 ft by 3 ft...everything else is looking great too...
fullseason3.jpg fullseason2.jpghandleaf.jpgfullseason1.jpg
got a few strains spun up in my
down time...hella stoked about the progress...everyones been killin it...also were gonna be at the Yonder
Mountain String band show on 4/21...if anyones out there the whole Nomads Landing crew will be ragin it...so
until next time..remember this time

Heck yeah super busy, most of the irrigation got here, getting ready to frame up the exhaust fan. Wired up the speed control, and timer for the duct fan for the south furnace, ran wiring to the south shed, cut more cement board for the furnaces, rigged the steel floor framing that came with the shed as framing for the furnace cement boards, attached the collars to the upper barrel for the north stove, revamped the vents on the North East half of the greenhouse, more spring cleaning on the land, got water to the reservoirs, watered the orchard, planted a 100 sq ft. plot of buckwheat, started to build another bed in the veggie garden (1/3 greenhouse soil, 1/3 sand from the well digging, and 1/3 composted horse manure from Soba), washed and bleached inside of the mother house, foliar fed the ladies, cleaned pots and rotated everyone, get a compost brew going and finally I think BottleKap is going to spin up some more water extraction. Whew...

Imjustthatguy: Hey thanks for the comments brother. We r only 9 days from planting, and another update with pics is coming tomorrow. been jamming, burnt for the day, time to burn one down.

Awesome man, you are gonna get a killer yield according to my calculation. I envy your work-space and effort you have put into it. Subbed.

Thanks Air, we greatly appreciate the props... there have been lots of long days and nights, ie... last night cutting cement board till 7:00 Am, up at 1:00 Pm to get back to it... lol... folks rarely relate to the behind the scenes of a grow. But shoot, some of the ladies are already 3' tall and wide, 8 more days, then in the beds for em. It's definitely worth it...

Yes I agree, I hate it when my patients say something to the effect of "What do you mean time you put into the crop? What do you have to do? Just water them right?" ughh.
