Thanks to everyone who is following along and for all the comments and suggestions.
My ladies have definitely started their vegetative phase in full force this week, with a lot of growth happening in the past four or five days. The LED light/panel I've been using was just the ticket for what I needed to get these little ones going.
For nutes I've introduced Heavy16 Veg A & B, but not at the full potency for the bucket size I'm using. I've decided to slowly taper up and monitor the ladies closely to make sure we're not introducing too much, too quickly. The Heavy16 line comes on a recommendation, I'm sure people have strong opinions on what nutes to use for grows, so I'd be curious to see what people think.
Oh, and I've gotten the pH balance finally for the water I'm using. The tap water in this part of CO is very basic, at a pH level of 7 or more, so I've been working with my pH up and down and my digital pH meter to make sure we're in the 5 - 6 range for pH.
I took these photos under a CFL light just because you really can't make out too much with the LED fired up. on the plant with the lighter colored leaves, the CFL was right next to it, so I'm not certain if this is some sort of discoloration or just an effect on the photo from the lighting.
Now that I see it, I think there could be some discoloration going on, hmm I may need to flush in the next couple days if it gets any worse...
The other plant is fairing good too:
I also rigged up a lowering and raising setup for the LED monster that I'm using.
