Introduce your finger on the soil and check if it's moist, if it's still dark, then is not time to water yet.
What kind of water are you using? If it's not purified water let it repose for 48 hours.
Use 1/3 of the pot's capacity in water and let it drip through the ventilation holes, wipe off the excess.
There are roots in soil. Good idea not to poke your finger in them to check if they need water. Its not accurate as the bottom could still be moist especially if it is a big pot. It also tears roots. Not such a big deal once but if you need your finger once, you need it every time.

It would be better to lift your pots. As your plants grows. You will get a feel for it. If you pay attention you will be able to tell by looking. It won't hurt to watch it and let it droop once. You will see what it looks like. From then on you will notice.

It looks like an over water or water retention problem.
