Noob needing grow box advice

i am trying to grow indoors but im very crunched on space, i am going to attempt to make a very small grow box with the little supplies that i have.
i cracked open a old computer and removed two medium sized fans ( i well add pics soon) im hoping to use this as my venting system sort of? Is there any way to keep the plants small and still get a decent yield? i want to sort of keep them short, sounds dumb huh? Can anyone suggest the light i should be using, and if possible is there any way to power it without a outlet?

if you want to keep them small, look up LST, tie them down or top the shit out of them, and not much veg time, also look up ScroG
