noob needs help with ventelation

i have searched all over and cannot find the answer to my Question.
i am trying to design a grow room that will be about 6' by 3.5' by 8' it will be divided into 2 rooms. one room will have a 1000 watt mh light, the other room will have 1000 watt hps light. both of the hoods are air cooled. i am planning on getting a 6 inch inline fan and carbon filter with a CFM rating of about 310. the fan will be ducted to both lights.
Will this provide enough cooling? can i add y splitters and air intakes and run the light cooling and circulation off of one fan? i will have an osculating fan in both rooms as well. if i do need another inline fan can i run both fans into one carbon filter?
thanks

i don't run a carbon filter yet my last grow wasn't too smelly i think the 310cfm should do what you need if not yes the next fan will act like a booster in line, anyone with a similar set up want to help out wit this jump in

thanks, so you are saying that if i do run two inline fans i should run them vented up together? what is the advantage of this compared to running two seprate fans for cooling and ventelation? im growing ak 47 so it will be stinky.

got a new idea. ok so i will use the 6'' inline with the two 1000 watt lights for heat. and for circulation i will use these 112cfm computer fans i found. the grow space is 182 sq. ft so two of these fans will be used for circulation. can i power both of these fans with one cell phone charger? Could i use ducting to hook these fans up to my carbon filter? or wil they not be strong enough when the 310 cfm fan off to push air through? i guess i could build a seprate diy filter for the computer fans.

vent the flowering room into the veg room and then vent the veg room out through the carbon filter this is what I plan to do in my similar grow

good idea but isent it best to have the airflow from bottom too top in each room? and also i heard it was better to run a passive intake wouldn't this make the flower room non passive?

sorry for all the noob questions but... Ok so if i have the lights ducted to their own intake will i still need a carbon filter? the lights have lenses on them so i dont see how smell could get in. also could i use a 250 cfm booster fan to ventelate the lights? like the ones from a home improvement store? if i have that and the two computer fans for venelation of the rest of the room will i be good to grow?

I got a very similar setup, 9'x3.5'x7.5' closet with a flowering side and vegging side. 400w MH on one side and a 600w HPS on the other. It's not done yet though, the sides aren't light sealed against each other and no ventilation ducting yet. My hps light is in the mail along with my stanley blower fan. Went on a little shopping spree at home depo for ducting pieces, connectors, DIY carbon filter parts too.. anyway..

i'm going to be flowering in about a week so i'm working out my venting/ducting issues now.

I think i'm going to go with a setup like this, although it will probably go through some fine tuning before assembly. In fact lookout for a post i start about it here soon..

My exhaust hole is in the ceiling though a removed light assembly and is only 4'', so my ducting will also be 4'' ::crossing fingers::
i'll try passive air intake for awhile (pictured) but i'll probably put a fan on it and duct to both sides. I'll probably end up venting vegging side to flowering side, we'll see. Oh and I'm gong to seal the light so no stank gets blown straight out! I won't be using the vegging side for a few weeks, so i'm not concerned with it yet. I wish i would have worked all this out before hand instead of doing it by the seat of my pants, but anyway check out my journal sometime, peace

sorry for all the stoned rambling!

If its possible you should have your fan suck the air through the carbon filter and blow it past the lights to the exhaust. I've got some friends that keep burning out fan motors due to the heat from the bulbs passing through the fan.
