So if I have a huge plant with a lot of buds and its time for the harvest. Once you harvest the buds off the plant, what happens to the plant? does it die? or can you keep nurturing it so that it will flower again and how?
They are annu. plants. You will want to cut cuttings to make clones if you what to keep growing the same plant. Or if you have seeds. Clones will be female aslong as the cloned plant is female.
So after the flowering period time is over you can cut the whole plant from the base and hang the whole plant up to dry or you can cut each branch off and dry that way.
You could always dry it after you trim the buds off and make cannabutter or hash with the leaves and fluffy bottom buds. But to answer your questions, no you can't re-flower it.
yes it is possible but its better to clone it or start new seeds it takes less time from clone cause it will take a few weeks to get back to the veg cycle after the stress wears off
yes you can rejuvatnate a plant after it has been harvested....you will need toleave 2-3 bottom branches intact so it can continue to photosynthesis....im not sure on the exactitudes of it or how hard it is i just know it can be done...we are going to attmptit on one of my neighbors plants...its an 8' tall bush from some bagseed that ended up growing great and producing some sticky smell buds...the clones we took didnt survive so we are going to see if we can keep it around for a year....
