I can't seem to find a site that gives me straight answers for what I am asking. I am using half pint jars, of brown rice flour and vermiculite. I wasn't sure how many CC of the spore solution to put into each jar, then also should I keep them in the dark or would being in light work better?

actually light wont hurt it when colonizing. Thats just a myth... Dark or light doesnt matter, just make sure to give yer jars FAE. But anyhow your supposed to use 1/4cc per hole

if you are new.
use 1 cc of spore solution PER JAR
that means there are 4 holes on each jar.
so 1/4 of a cc PER HOLE.

hope this helps.

the more you get better at making your own syringes (means more spores per cc, if you do it right)
that means the less CCs you have to use per hole.

i haven't gotten that good yet but I have heard people successfully knocking up each of the 4 holes with only 1/8 of a cc.
so 1/2 a cc per jar when they use their own made syringes from spore prints.
this allows you to LOAD up your syringe with millions of spores instead of a decent amount from the ones you buy.
keep that in mind ;)
