NOOOOOBBYYY BOOBY question

so before i start researching a completely new subject to me how much money should i set aside from start to finish for my small closet grow?

You can DIY alot of stuff. I put together a 400 watt dwc hydro grow for about 200 bucks, that includes nutrients. you can do a cheaper grow in soil with cfls and miracle gro for 25 bucks. It depends on how much space ya got, and how much bud you wanna pull outa that space.

space is limited to quite litteraly a closet 2'5"x2'5" i want maximum bud and the most finest dank out there i want super potency and quality so i dont mind paying for the good nutrients and stuff , top dollar setup cause as i understand it once your setup its mostly nutrients and electricity.

unless you spend alot of time researching... u will probably end up buying stuff that doesnt work or u don't need...

if you want 100% smell control and great results...

all in all i have spent probably $800 on my first real setup....(I will probably brake even on the first time around though...and the knowledge gained is priceless)

I would have to agree with Chicken ... about $300. I posted recently that I have spent close to $1300 on what I have, and then started looking at ways that a lot of RIU members grow, especially the DIY'ers. I could have a sweet $1000 in my pocket right now, if I would have incorporated some of the "New Kids on The Block" techniques. I really do admire all of the "McGuyver's" out there, especially being 53 years old.

I have one closet that is about 2'x3.5', close to the area size you have and pull 6 to 8 zips per grow. I use 400 watt hps so heat isnt much of aN ISSUE, and I grow low oder strains so a filter isnt an issue, I don't change out my tote, so nutrients are not an issue. Theres a thousand ways to grow, ur goin about it right. gather info. I pr4efer to do the least amount of work, while spending the least amount of money to get the most bud I can.
