Well it's that time a year again. First I want to say how much I love everyone in the outdoor section. You all are so nice, friendly and helpful.

So I mixed up a pile of soil with my old root balls this fall, it's about a yard and a half. My mix is based off subcools recipe. image.jpeg
I have eight, 65 gallon, one 45 gallon, and some small pots, for a total of 12 plants. So I need 700 gallons of soil or 3 1/2 yards

i have more root balls to break up and amend but will still be a yard short. I was going to mix compost, ewc and perlite to make my extra 200 plus gallons of soil.

Is this a good mix ? Any input is great.

You might want to substitute the perlite for a different aeration product because of how it breaks down in the long run. Other than that, looking good. This is more inspiration for me to start doing a little more everyday to be ready when the season starts here. Good luck and I'm onboard to watch and learn! :bigjoint:
