Normal for leaves to turn yellow the last week of flowering?

So I have been giving my plants nothing but water for weeks 9 and 10 and they are turning yellow, I guess mainly because they dont get enough N.

Ive seen grow threads where they turn yellow at the end, is this normal?

Another question, for soil grow does the plain water still need to be PHed or just when I add nutes to the mix?

yes its normal when you starve a plant of nutrients for it to yellow ;)

No you don't need to PH the water unless your soil is unlimed complete garbage you dug up out back and are concerned with PH drift in the soil...if you are using any normal store bought potting mix its usually limed and it should be fine for an entire grow.

yea, its normal for the leaves to turn yellow without nitrogen, especially normal at the end of a grow since u normally would cut the N.

Massah is right about the soil, but it would also depend on what kinda water your using. to be safe, check the run off ph ;)

good luck!

Thanks for the replies. I am using HP Promix but no lime. I have always PHed the water with Phos Acid.

totally normal. last weeks of bloom. week 4 or 5 of bloom, not so bueno. Pics would help. As long as it starts with big broad leaves and it's not ur buds yellowing i wouldn't worry too much.

here's a girl showing some early yellowing. i keep their N up longer now.
