i just learned you can start local chapters of norml to raise funds and stuff recruit sigs and all but alaska has no chapter, i could be the head of the alaska chapter of norml! i bet they send you tee shits and bumper stickers and stuff, id probably have to stop growing though, thered definatly be a local spotlight on me lol no good news up here, and norml wont affiliate themselves with criminal activity, but im sure thatd be one hell of a pussy magnet over on campus,

I second that. Starting a chapter would mean work. You'd have to put forth effort to keep it going. Scoring tail is the wrong reason to do this.

If you want to get laid, buy a new shirt. If you want to make a difference in the world, get active in NORML.

hey dont come down all hard on me thats just a side thingy i are willing to work on this i am an exellent candidate, i only work part time, so i have the time.
and i know alot of people that are in the same frame of mind.

I think the better organization for college campuses is SSDP. They are getting heard on issues regarding the penalties of a Marijuana Possesion Charge. They are able to schedule 'Guest Speaker's' on campus, I have been to 2 lectures sponsored by these young folks at both of the big ten university in my state. They are able to shed some of the hippie/ stoner image that the dea has associated with MJ use since the war protests in the sixties. Don't get me wrong, us pld folks have our place in this fight too, it just doesn't fit as well, imo, on college campuses as SSDP does. VV
