I have a second question that do you think it's getting too late, for us in the North, to be just starting flower. Or needing to force flower. I am yet to flower having to force flower at the moment. It looks like my plant wants more veg time but I believe it'll take as much as I'll give it. I need more flower time. I'm actually in Canada, Atlantic Canada... attach photo is probably week old. As we've been raining, and I've also started to tempt the plant trying to drive it to flower.
My best guess is that it will start stretching very soon, I'm in north central Cali, and outdoor plants start flowering in about 2 weeks. Look for the nodes to start being alternate instead of oppossed, that's a sign of sexual maturity, they'll start flowering soon after that.
I am on the north shore in ma and plan to up pot in another week or two.

How long will you have to frost? I may see it in first of October, would you recommend but I force flower due to the early Frost. Potential would like to maximize flower. So it only be starting about 2 weeks ahead and that would be great for my Harvest Time
Luckily frost in October is pretty rare, and a hard freeze is unheard of in my area. Plants can handle a frost, even snow, but anything below about 26-28 will start doing serious damage. You know your climate better than I do, but a forced flower migh be a good idea.

At 3rd seems a little aggressive my branches are growing really well. I understand the concept, just fearful of taking too much off. Long time since I've done it don't want to stop flower
I do. They don't seem to care one bit. In fact, mine usually like it.
