I grew four seasons of crops in the NE.

Probably a little south of you. Latitude 40.65.....apx. 100 miles inland.

I found out in the first year how nasty and evil PM and bud rot can be.

If the weather gets damp and chilly, esp. overnight---- CHECK THE PLANTS AS OFTEN AS YOU CAN!

You are a valiant warrior.

I learned that sativa dom hybrids fare better in those horrid late season conditions in the NE.

Ak-47 is not a good plant to grow there.

The biggest plants I ever grew were in the NE...Skunk #1 X Burmese...12 feet tall and drooping with fat buds.
Almost no loss to PM or bud blight.

I salute you.
Best of luck in your battle.

\\

actually i won't mind some rain the plants would love it we spray them everyday with the hose in the mornings, buds and all they love it !! they was breed in a wet climate so no mold issues at all zero anywhere even in the buds that are huge and solid water just rolls right off them lol...

i grow in the northeast, just a few plants to feed my weekend head, and i definitely have had animal issues. what i do is use a ring of rabbit fencing around the plant and then spray it with Liquid Fence that you can buy in most garden centers and hardware stores. spray the plants around it too. keeps rabbits and deer away.

im using organocide plant doctor to treat my mold problems...i dont know if its working yet..and i it might be too late, i assume this is more of a preventative measure.
[h=3]Product Description[/h] ORGANOCIDE™ Plant Doctor Systemic Fungicide (Formerly Exel LG) is an earth-friendly broad spectrum disease control and preventative for use on turf, fruit trees, vegetables, ornamentals and flowers.
Plant Doctor prevents and controls a myriad of plant diseases, including those that cause root rot, leaf and stem blights, leaf spots and many others! A systemic product, it has a foliar or root application that will work its way throughout the entire plant to prevent disease and attack existing disease above and below ground. Once inside the plant, Plant Doctor increases plant metabolism so plants grow faster, bloom more and have an increased yield while providing a nutritional boost of potassium and phosphorous, essential nutrients for plant growth.
