Posted this in another section with a seperate question but it is probably better posted here.I have a royal queen northern lights auto 3 weeks in and still not showing any signs of flowering, do they usually take this long? The description claims they begin flowering pretty much immediatly.

Yeah I had a NLx big bud
It showed in a 2 weeks I think
What kind of light is it under ? I find with auto`s the more red the faster they flower and they less they grow if it`s veging let it get a bit bigger before getting more red on it if your not in a rush. Kind`a trick if I don`t know what your light set up and schedule is.

So you have 1 plant with around 200w of cfl on it ?
What lighting times are you using ? 18/6 works well on that strain then the last few weeks you can take it down to 12/12 just to save on power and get a bit more taste.
If the cfl`s are close to the plant say 1 to 3" from the leaf`s then you should be flowering by now
I`d it another week and then I`d turn the lights off for 24 hours and then go into 12/12 to induce flowering as you may have got a batch that are not exactly auto`s

nice to hear the good news man
I just happened to get my new light set up around a week before my NL finished and I`ll say this the extra light made her frosty I`ve never see NL with so many clear shiny crystals on it.
Hopefully that 200w of cfl gets you some real nice results man.
I just trimmed up 1 bud early as it was a mates birthday looking forward to seeing how it cures up now.
It`s cool how much of a punch some auto`s have now days I mean well grown auto`s seam to be way better then run of the mill street green and I see people paying £250 an oz for stuff I`d not even want to make butter with lol

I've found Pyramid seeds to come out more on the ruderalis side (skimpy shaggy buds) with short plants and little yield. I've grown em in soil and hydro, both with similar outcome. I'd love to hear that yours come out bigger.
I'd be more than happy to update you of the end result, I'm growing in soil under 2 125 watt cfls

I had a free world of seeds NL X Big bud auto has that nice NL/CHEESE smell like pine and cheese with a hint of pepper and loads of clear crystals that sparkle
It came out really well but because I fast grew it the plant finished really small only about 20g`s of dry product at the end
I think under weaker lights you could draw out the 1st few weeks and get the plant to veg up more really frosted mind looks like the same kind`a crystal you get from an auto kush.
That was pretty much my last auto plant unless I get some more show up as freebies.....

So... I take that back about the Pyramid seeds not working out. The AutoSuperHash I got has plumped right out in the last week. These should be juicy nuggets, I'll let you know how much I yield per plant. I'm allowed up to 11 plants but can barely fit in there myself with the 7 I have (only the 3 in the pics are Pyramid AutoSuperHash). It's a 5x5x6 tent and the thing is packed!
